What's with Subbu? You are so right in that the CVs have no clue what to do with him. Didn't the guy lose a wife and child just months ago? Even assuming mommy dearest forced him into the marriage, you'd think he'd mourn his child for whom he was performing some kind of midnight rites just days ago 🤢

bechaari patni aur bacche ko bhi ek mysterious plane crash mein maar diya just to bring him back into the picture...and CVs khud confused hai ke how did the family not know about the deaths. Vandu says not even Bala's amma knew it in one initial scene whereas Bala's amma says to Bala in another that, "Jabse Lakshmi ki maut hui hai, Subbu doesnt smile..."...And I think its more to do his expressions that his amma didnt realize if he was smiling or crying😆

Anyways, now for Subbu, the same amma is ready to take back an already married, much in love and not to forget barren Ishita into her son's life...just to entertain and bring a smile to Subbu with her lectures, is it?
