This update really made me sad
I didn't expect this reaction from rd

He was guilty
That's okay bt leaving her alone knowing everything what she did n suffered for him is not right

I really don't want any separation

He left her

Thirty Five

"It... It was nice bumping into you," the girl told him. "You remind me of my boyfriend a little."

"It's funny because you remind me of the girl I just left," he told her.

"Why did you leave her?" she asked him innocently.

"I don't know and I don't want to talk about it," he replied. "Where do you live? I'll take you back... you're not in the right frame of mind to go home yourself."

Randhir hailed a cab and they both sat in the backseat as she told the cab driver her address.

Suddenly he remembered the cab drive back to his place with Sanyukta two years ago right before they had sex... it was meaningless sex for him, but he knew that for her, that one night meant everything.

He felt his eyes tear up again and the girl he was with looked at him with wide eyes.

"You're crying?" she asked him, sounding shocked. "Boys have emotions too?"

"I'm wondering the same thing," he told her light-heartedly. "I didn't know I had emotions this intense."

"Aww... don't cry," she said to him softly. "Please don't cry. I don't like seeing people cry. I cry too."

Then she started to sniffle and tears poured out of her eyes.

Randhir wiped his eyes with his hands and smiled at her.

"Don't cry over boys," he told her. "They're not worth it... no matter what you do for them, they won't appreciate you."

"But I love him," she wailed, and she started to sob even more.

He placed a hand on her shoulder awkwardly, trying to comfort her, and she leaned into him and cried.

"I can't go home," she said. "My parent's will kill me if they see me like this."

He awkwardly patted her on the back, unsure of what to do with her. Then an idea struck him and he smiled.

"Would you like to come to my home?" he asked her.

She pulled away from him and wiped her eyes.

"Okay," she said, sniffling.

Randhir told the taxi driver the change in address and soon he had pulled into Randhir's place.

He paid the driver and then helped the girl inside.

"Where am I gonna sleep?" she asked him.

"In my room," he said and removed his shoes.

She followed him into his room and he closed the door behind him. Then the girl started to sob hysterically.

"I miss him," she told him.

"It's okay, don't worry, everything will be fine," he told her comfortingly.

Then she threw her arms around him and sobbed into his chest. Randhir remembered the pain he had unintentionally put Sanyukta through and felt like crying himself, but he controlled himself this time.

Just one last time Sanyukta, he thought to himself. Just take one last stab from me, and then you won't be hurt anymore. This stab will be an illusion. What looks like a stab will be your ointment. You will get better. I promise.

He broke the hug and then cupped the cheeks of the girl in front of him.

All of them needed to move on. Sanyukta, this girl, and him. He wasn't going to change his habits because of her diary, and neither was she.

He needed to do something that would make her angry at him... something that would perhaps cause her to throw him out of her life.

The girl looked up at him, looking confused.

"You need to move on," he told her softly. "So do I."

She nodded, understanding what he was saying and he made his move.
