"The creative was intended to present the royalty, timeless beauty and elegance. However, if we have inadvertently hurt the sentiments of any individual or organisation, we deeply regret the same. We have started the process of withdrawing this creative from our campaign"

Kalyan is a terrible organisation. Treats their employees like slaves in their textile showrooms. Local media doesn't report it as Kalyan gives them ads. This apology is just a face saving act since it got national attention.

The strike that was largely ignored by the mainstream media in Kerala also saw some of the employees making serious allegations that showrooms would not allow them to sit even for a minute the entire day, and in some showrooms the saleswomen were not allowed to go to the bathroom more than once or twice, and a fine was collected if they stayed in the bathroom for "too long".

They are crap.

Saw a pic of Kalyan guys eating in gold utensils.

They are loaded. No wonder they are obsessed with promoting royal culture.

Why is a slave/servant necessary to show royalty, timeless beauty and elegance? Was the beauty of Ash inadequate to portray that?

Is a terrible ad!!! Wonder how the notoriously famous obsessed with IMAGE-PARIVAAR-SANSKAAR BACHCHANS are going to get out of this one!!!! It's a tripled edged sword b/c not only does it depict racism, and child labour but also class exploitation. Disgusting. I am shocked at Ash's consent , maybe she didn't know about this one b/c she's always been as obsessed with Image as the Bachchans so they're a match made in Heaven. If those were her words then it's terribly disappointing b/c I remember how upset she was when L'Oreal tried to promote her ad as a whitening ad & she just left all the creative details with them. It seems to be the same case here. Yes she should've been more careful but seeing how busy she has been lately with her new movie I reckon they just shoot the ad & forget the rest. Heavy damage control to be done by the Bs' now.

Don't start me on the Kalyans. Nouveau riche. True "wealth and class" does not behave like this. Look at Bill Gates, Wenthermer family & the banker families of Europe. This is all new money talking & room full of it. And certainly royalty doesn't behave like this either.

Kalyan , leela , shobha and lulu are just like reliance group ... nobody dares to touch them
the only good thing the Kalyan family seems to be doing is resurrecting a temple and reconstructing a huge pond/reservoir near it ... which has obviously helped in the fast growth of the area

Holy crap
No wonder they have this "slave mentality" in their mind
