Havent seen Mrityudand! I heard she was offered 1942 love story as well. I know she has wokred with some good directors but not a lot is what i meant.

Juhi just used to copy popular heroines of that time. Nothing original. If at all she stands out, it's due to her comic timing. She has done a bit of better work only in second innings.

MD is the last heroine who had it all. Others can be happy with red carpet bullshit or beauty titles or diva image blah blah.

Maybe some people have not seen what true star power of a heroine is like. 😆 They keep amusing themselves with tokenism now.

I dont believe I trashed her. I said she was a decent one. Nor did I claim Aish was better. Aish is made out to be terrible which I dont think she was. But my issue with Madhuri is some of her most famous films like hahk devdas, dtph, beta have all been musicals. Her most famous movies are. And her filmography doesn't have that good of movies in it. And I believe its shows Juhi's potential that she was able to come back for a second inning and be offered quality work and survive for so many years. That is just my POV IMO.

Juhi is a footnote. An also ran. NO way comparable to real queens. Potential doesn't mean anything. Actual accomplishment does.

MD has been part of films like Mrityudand, Dharavi, Prahaar and is not just limited to musicals. Better than Juhi who herself was playing girl next door or glam doll in her prime.

Juhi never had distinct personality nor pull at BO. And MD atleast did above mentioned films in her prime and tried to experiment unlike Juhi who was just in commercial fare and never had guts to experiment in her prime.

Anyone can experiment when past one's prime!

What's so special about madhuri apart from may be she is a better dancer.
