It was a ploy alright to keep people interested in the upcoming episodes as the Show is indeed not picking up after all the nautankis. It was a bait for people who are on the fence deciding whether to continue or not.
The video and the articles are misleading because NR cannot unite under such circumstances when N is already engaged to Champakali. The engagement kind of seals their relation while earlier it was a verbal promise - not that this engagement would stop N to go to R, if he is motivated enough?
Now the million dollar question is - whether he is motivated enough to fight this one out for his two estranged kids and for Ragini? I am sure he will not still do anything.
Now that he has prayed to Ramji to fill Ragini's khali jholi with happiness, hence a new character is being introduced. Even Super Naani's prayer to Ramji is being proved wrong, it seems.
Most of the characters are not needed, had the ones with the proper motive done their work properly.
And in the end, PAM will always win, because Dr Neil Khanna will not do anything.
That's NB Maata's revenge.
P.S. : I wish I was loyal to EK as well, in one form or another. She would have ensured that I keep on getting roles in all her Shows, however useless it is. 😊
