|| Chapter 9 ||

Gudiya runs out of maan's room in hurry to share their marriage news with everyone but she bumps to her mamma gowri who was busy with Amrutha talking in hall.

Gowri catches her before she falls down "Gudiya...sambalkey..kya karti rehati hain..aise q baagrahi hain?"

Gudiya squeals holding gowri's hand "mamma.. chalo meri packing karne main help karo...aur mujhe kittni sare shopping karni hain..."

Gowri "arre pehale apni mamma se gale tho lagale..pagli"

Gudiya hugs gowri and says kissing her both cheeks "gudiya missed mamma so much abb chalo aap"

Gowri hugs gudiya "mamma missed gudiya too... aur exam kaisa huwa...kisiko zaada tang tho nahi kiya na..."

Gudiya bites her lips "sacchi mamma aapki kaala(black) coat ki kasam maine kisiko tang nahi kiya...agar chahey tho aap ammu mamma se poochlijiyega..."

Gudiya turns to amrutha pleading with her most puppy dog face Please ammu ma mma..mamma ko kuch matt batana...

Amrutha chuckles and takes gudiya in her arms kisses her both cheeks "haan gowri hamari gudiya bahut acchi aur pyaari bacchi hain...bilkul shaitani nahi ki inhone"

Gowri knows exactly how her laadli beti is and amrutha never bad mouth about anyone; be it a kid or adult. "haan haan q nahi tumhari har zidd jo poori hothi hain yaha...aab zaldi packing karo ..ghar nahi jaana hain kya?"

Hearing packing gudiya remembers about what she wanted to tell everyone "mamma mujhe please packing karne main help karo na aur phir mujhe shopping keliye jana hain.."

Gowri sighs hearing her demands, it's not been 10 minutes since she met her and gudiya's demands has already started. She looks at amrutha silently asking how she handles everyone.

Gowri "shopping? Tum ghar jaarahi hoo ..uskeliye shopping ki kya zaroorath hain gudiya"

Gudiya frowns at her mom and says adamantly "main ghar nahi jaarahi hoon...main bunny ke saath London jaarahi hoon..."

Both amrutha and gowri says together in confusion "London?"

Gowri asks "gudiya hey kya kehrahi ho tum...aur kisne kaha tum London jaarahi ho? "

Gudiya puckers her lips and says flatly " mujhe London jaana hain bas...aap... aap mujhe rokh nahi sakthi...q ki abb main married hoon na.."

Amrutha and gowri both were shocked to hear gudiya say married "what..? Married? "

At the same time Daadi joins them talking with ramu kaka about something. And looks at amrutha and gowri's shocked expressions and then sees gudiya's pout. She assumes jaroor gudiya ne inndono ki brain wash karne ki koshish ki hogi jaise meri saath ki thi.

Gudiya points at gowri "aap aap mujhe london jaane se nahi rokh sakthi...q ki meri shaadi hogai hain...aur main bunny ke saat London jaroor javongi.."

Daadi's ears shot straight hearing gudiya say shaadi...London ..bunny. Daadi know gudiya well what she is capable of, if it comes to something she wants or needs; gudiya never stops until she gets it. She suspects there is something fishy going on here.

Daadi "gudiya hey aap kya bolrahi ho... "

Maan rushes down searching for gudiya and hides behind pillar seeing daadi, maa and gowri aunty surrounding gudiya like a lions surrounding their prey. Abb tho gaya main kaamse...hey mujhe marwadegi aaj...

Gowri asks gudiya "kaisi shaadi?"

Amrutha "kiski shaadi?"

Gudiya looks at three narrowed gaze and say keeping her hands on waist "meri shaadi...baunny se ho"" maan's hand closes her mouth before she completes her sentence.

Maan grins at daadi, gowri and amrutha while gudiya struggling to get free from his hold. Maan "ku-ku-kuch nahi daadi...bas aise hi...gudiya mazaak karrahi thi..ku-kuch nahi.. hain na gudiya?" maan nudges her head for an yes while still hands on her mouth. Gudiya murmurs at his hand trying to get free.

Daadi with stern tone "maan chodo usse...let her finish what she has to say.."

Maan lets out a nervous laugh "n-n-nahi daadi..ku-ku-kuch nahi...yuvii..bas mazaak..""

Maan screams when Gudiya bites his hand when he didn't let her complete what she has to say "Ahhh.. gudiya.." Gudiya hits his arms for closing her mouth.

Gudiya "Daadi meri shaadi bunny ke saat hogai hain..abb tho main jaasakthi hun na...london unkey saat...boliyena? ...aur hey dekhiye hamari shaadi ke rings.." gudiya drags maan's hand and along with her small hand infront showing their rings to daadi, amrutha and gowri comes closer too.

Maan stood their anticipating a volcano to erupt. Daadi, amrtha and gowri stood rooted to their spot shocked and surprised.

Gowri is first to get over the shock "gudiya...hey kya mazaaq hain..."

gudiya's face became red with anger and tears about to roll down her plump cheeks "aap log bunny ko London bejrahey the mujhse door aur mujhe woh pasand nahi tha...maine bahut koshish ki sabbko samjane ko ki bunny matt bejo..per kohi mere baath tak nahi suna...isiliye maine bunny se shaadi karli...abb main bhi bunny ke saat london jaasakthi hoon..aur mujhe kohi nahi rokh saktha.."

Daadi looks at maan and gudiya silently "aur hey idea kisne diya aapko"

Gowri holds her head sits on sofa along with amrutha. Gudiya "Woh maine tv pe dekha tha" gowri gets up and comes near to gudiya "tumhey pata hain shaadi kaisi hothi hain ".. she looks at maan "maan ...hey gudiya kya bolorahi hain..."

Gudiya pokes gowri "mamma...yaha ..aap mujhse baat karo...bunny ko kuch matt kaho..."

Amrutha walks to maan and stands beside him. She pats on his shoulder silently showing her support and giving assurance not to worry that I am there ...I will see everything

Gudiya " aur mujhe sabb pata hain shaadi kaisi hoti hain...DK(dev Khurana) ne bathaya tha mujhe ...ring pehanado aur kiss karo ..aur shaadi hogai hamari...abb main bunny ke saat london jaavongi" gudiya shows her ring and points at her lips and then maan's lips when she says kiss.

Daadi's eye widens and coughs hearing about kiss and looks at her seeda saada pota feeling sorry for him. Kiss??? Immediately maan nodes for a no to daadi sacchi daadi maine kuch nahi kiya

Gowri had enough of all this nonsense and she raises her hand to hit gudiya but daadi stops her before she hit gudiya. Gudiya hugs maan tightly hiding her face in his chest crying. Maan didn't like that but he kept silent.

Gowri "Aapne dekha maaji...kitni begadgai hain hey ladkhi..sabb hamari galthi hain...hamesha inki manmani karnese kabhi rokha tokha nahi... isiliye hey jo mann main aaye woh karti hain...aagey peechey kuch bhi nahi soochti,..kuch bhi bakkey jaarahi hain.."

Amrutha "gowri.. jaane dho na...woh abhi bhi bacchi hain.."

Gowri "kya bacchi? Tumney suna nahi...issne abhi kya kaha...iski naasamj ke bathon main maan bte ko bhi uljadiya.." said in frustration.

Gowri grabs gudiya and says in stern tone " abhi isi waqt tum apna bag pack karogi aur mere saat ghar chalogi...samji?"

Gudiya cries hugging maan "main nahi jaavongi...mujhe bunny ke saat London jaana hain...please mamma mujhe bunny ke saat jane do na... aab tho hamari shaadi bhi hogai na...per aap q nahi jaanedete mujhe bunny ke saath"" says sobbing.

Maan and amrutha were helpless watching her cry. They are not in position to say anything right now. It's between mother and her child.

Gowri sighs and says again trying to calm herself "gudiya...abhi ghar chalo...aapki papa ne aapkeliye bahut saare chocolates aur gifts ke saat wait karrahey hain."

Gudiya hides behind maan crying "nahiii...mujhe nahi jaanaaa... Ghar..."

Gowri pulls gudiya from maan's behind " gudiya zidd matt karo...chalo..."

Now all kids gathered around the hall hearing gudiya's cry. Karan and raj walks to maan in confusion.

Gudiya "mamma...mujhe bunny ke saat London jaana hain...please mujhe jaane do.. " now gudiya's hiccups didn't let her talk properly.

Gudiya hugs daadi "daadiii...please aap mamma ko boliye na...Ammu mamma aap tho boliye...mujhe nahi jaana ghar..."

Amrutha felt miserable watching gudiya cry and she knows how helpless her son is feeling right now.

Gowri tries to lift gudiya from daadi's lap but gudiya locks her hand around daadi's neck crying hard.

Daadi couldn't see gudiya cry like that "gowri beta...gudiya ko yahi rehane dijiyena...jab takk maan London""before daadi says leaves she corrected "mera matlab hain waise bhi maan aur gudiya saath main hi jaarahey hain na...london.." gudiya lifts her head to look at daadi in surprise.

Gudiya holds daadi's both cheeks in her small hand "saachhi daadi...main bunny ke jaasakthi hun...?"

Daadi didn't want to lie to her but gudiya is super ziddi and she won't stop crying unless until she gets some assurance.

Gowri attempts to say something but daadi shows her hand to stop whatever gowri is about to say that she will handle this situation.

Daadi "hmmm pehale aap jaakey apni face wash karlo ..aur kuch khaaloo...phir baad main aap packing karlo...teekhey?"

Surprised gudiya looks at daadi and then kisses all over her face smiling "aap bilkul bunny ki tarha ho...so sweet and... and chocolatiy... "

Daadi wonders main bunny ki tarha ya woh mere tarha...aur hamesha chocolates..uff... agar aise hi chaltha raha tho aagey jakey hamare pote ko chocolate ki factory kholni paregi..madam keliye

Daadi wipes gudiya's tears and kisses on her cheeks. "and you are my accha baccha... because you always listens to your daadi ..hain na?"

Gudiya nodes her head for yes innocently, Daadi looks at everyone gathered in hall silently warning through her eyes not to tease or say anything to gudiya. Specially kids, especially vicky, bani and pari. These three shouldn't come 10 meters close to gudiya anywhere.

Gudiya jumps from daadi's lap and runs to maan smiling "bunny...I am coming to London with you...dekho na daadi bhi maangai...yayyy kitna mazaa ayega na..."

Maan knows that whatever daadi said or planned is definitely going to backfire on them. He dreaded of gudiya's reaction to whatever daadi plans were. But in all this he is the one who has to face the wrath of gudiya in either way.

|| Chapter 10 ||

Maan's Departure day

Maan paced impatiently in hall waiting for gudiya. It's been three days since he has talked with gudiya or seen her. She isn't even taking his call; neither came to Khurana mansion nor letting anyone to see her. She has locked herself in her bedroom not talking with anyone, not even with her papa. Jasvinder uncle promised him to bring gudiya today before he leaves. Today he is leaving to London and he is not sure when he will be back or be able to see his gudiya. She is super angry with everyone including him.

Dev came to him with frowning something in his hand wrapped in gift paper. He stands behind him not saying anything. Maan sighs when he sees frowning dev "Dev what is it?"

Dev hands the gift reluctantly to maan "wo...hey aapkeliye"

Maan takes the gift and feels the texture on the wrapper "Thank you..dev per isski ka jaroorut"

Dev "jaroort hain bhai...aap kholkey tho dekhye sahi.."

Maan unwraps the paper slowly and finds a plain wooden frame with a family photo in it. Daadu, Daadi, papa, maa, dev, vicky, aliya and maan present in that photo. Maan touches the glass on the photo and he becomes emotional finally realizing that he is going far away from family.

A tear drop falls on the glass over photo, hard truth blows at maan totally making him to lose control over his emotions. Maybe a bit more has to do with gudiya not talking with him or come to meet him for his farewell. He wipes his eyes with back of his hand before dev sees them.

Maan clears his throat before saying thanks to dev "Thank you dev! It's indeed precious gift..I will keep it close to me always"

Dev hugs maan "I know ..and you are welcome bhai..."

Daadi comes to them "maan its time beta...aur kitna intizaar karoge?"

Maan breaks out from hug "daadi jasvindar uncle aagai?"

Daadi nodes for a yes, maan waits for her to say gudiya has come along too "Aur gudiya?"

Daadi nodes for a no sighing, maan's face fell hearing that. Daadi leaves from there remembering something. Dev leaves when he saw Karan and Raj coming. Karan "Hey maan don't forget to write us email every week" maan nodes grimily thinking about gudiya.

Raj tries to lighten the seriousness of the situation by teasing maan "Agar gora ya gori mili tho inn kaalon ko matt bhoolna" but maan knew his best friends well how much they are trying to be happy infront of him.

Karan "yaar mujhe bhi London jaane keliye haan kardena chahiye tha...I feel like running to papa and say papa I want to go London too' "

Maan hugs both pulling them into group hug "I will miss you both guys" all three broke out of hug when they hear a loud noise of utensils crashing on floor. All three turns towards the source of noise, there stood ramau kaka with same odd expression on his face.

Karan is unknown to the incident in study between maan - raj and kaka "Kaka, are u alright?"

Raj starts to laugh looking at kaka's expression slapping maan on shoulder. Kaka picks up the utensils on the ground thinking pehale maan baba ...abb karan baba bhi? Bagwaan..hey kya horaha hain...nahi nahi aise nahi hosaktha...

Karan asks raj "tu q aise hassraha hain..?"

Raj "oh..you will not only laugh but will laugh rolling on floor when I tell you the reason behind kaka's that odd expression"

Maan was uninterested in their talks as he was more concerned about gudiya "Raj..gudiya nahi aayi?"

Raj "Arre yaar teri chakkar main ...moofth ki jooti khaani pari mujhe. Gudiya ne mujper apni jooti pehki...jab main usey teri phone dene gaya tho"

Karan "sirf 5 inch ki jooti na..."

Raj shows a bump on his forehead pushing his hair side for them to take a look at the now fading purple color bump "abe saale 5 inch ke skating ki jooti pheki usne mere sir per..." maan and karan both felt sorry for him. maan thought ittna gussa.. maan imagines heavy things flying at him...he shakes his head imagining something hitting his head ...woh pakka nahi aayegi..

Vicky and aliya comes to maan calling for him running. "Maanbayya...maanbayya..." Both hugs maan; vicky by his waist and aliya his legs.

Vicky "Maanbayya you will miss me more right?" asks maan.

Aliya "nahi maanbayya will wiss(miss) me mole(more)"

Maan kneels down infront of vicky and aliya "I will miss everyone equally because each one of you are important to me, no less ..no more.. got it" both nodes for ok hugging his neck.

Maan says seriously "Vicky don't get into trouble or put anyone in trouble, especially Dev. Listen to daadi-daadu maa-papa. And be nice to gudiya...take care of aliya baby...I don't want to hear any complains on you ..okay? "

Vicky nodes quietly, he is sad about maan going away but never admits how much it affects him. He always has been a kind of kid who always puts up a brave face no matter what or how bad the situation could get. Maan picks aliya up and kisses her forehead.

Pari - bani comes along and informs maan that everyone is waiting for him. Maan goes out and takes blessings from everyone starting from Daadu, Daadi, Maya buwa - Abhi , gowri - Jasvinder and last Ramu kaka's as he is as old as his papa.

Daadu "Maan we are really proud of you beta .. You are our pride.. never let anyone tell you different ..remember that where your roots come from. Study well and take care of yourself.." he hugs him kissing his forehead.

Daadi had tears in her eyes when maan came to her to take blessings, daadi hugged him feeling sad. Daadi whispers in his ears "I am sorry beta..coz of me gudiya is not talking with you...I am so sorry"

Maan shakes his head for no "no daadi don't say sorry..jobhi huwa usmain aapki galthi nahi thi... gudiya jaada din takk humse aur aapse naraaz nahi rehsakthi..."

Daadi sighs "I hope so beta...hope so.."

He comes to jasvindar and gowri bends to take blessings. Jasvindar stops in mid hugging him patting his head lovingly.

Jasvindar " Maan tum apne aap ko akela matt samjo waha...maine brij ko already inform kardiya hain...he will meet you there ... Take good care of yourself young boy"

Maan hesitates "Uncle ..aunty..wo gudiya"

gowri "you know her maan..bahut gussa karti hain...pata nahi kispe gayi hain ...main ya hey kabhi uttna gussa nahi karte jitna who ek baar main karthi hain...you don't worry she will come around gradually"

Jasvindar "We tried a lot to convince her to come with us maan but woh apne zidd pe adi hain..but don't worry abhi gussa hain ...kuch waqt do...uska gussa abhi bahut garam hain...thoda thanda hone do...tumse tho woh baath kiye bina nahi rehsakthi..."

Amrutha comes to maan "Chale maan...flight keliye time horahi hain.."

Yash, Amrutha & maan sits in car looking at whole family one more time. Karan ,dev, vicky and Raj hugs him one last time before saying goodbye. Maan waves at everyone when car started to move until they are visible.

Maan sighs and sits back on seat leaning on amrutha's shoulder closing his eyes. Amrutha caresses his head looking ahead. Maan thoughts go three days back incident.

Flashback start

After daadi's lots of perusal, gudiya agrees to sleep in her room. Later at night gowri comes and lifts sleeping gudiya in her arms.

Amrutha "Maaji hey teek hoga kya?"

Daadi "hamey pata hain...ki humney gudiya joot kaha per iss waqt hey teek hoga"

Gowri "amrtuha ..maaji sabb meri galthi hain...naa main isse itna choot dihoti ..naa hey itna ziddi hoti...isse aise hi lejana hain warna ...jaagthey huwe main isse control nahi karsakthi.."

Amrutha "Maaji aapko pata hain na jab who jaagjayegi tho kya hoga? Hum use aur tarikey se samjasakthey hain...per aise..."

Daadi "bacchi hain..zidd tho karegi..kuch dher takk naaraz rahegi..baad main sabb bhooljayegi"

Gowri takes gudiya in her arms and calls raj to pick her luggage. Maan rushes to them learning that gudiya is leaving with gowri & raj right now.

Maan "gowri aunty...aap gudiya ko aise q lejarehy ho..usse mere jaane tak yahi rehanedijena.."

Gowri "Maan agar hey yaha tab tak rehegi tho yaha kisiko chain se rehane nahi degi aur tum janaahi pavoge"

Maan don't want to let her go after all he has only three days to spend with gudiya and he doesn't want her to get mad on him in these last three days.

Maan "Per aunty..."

Amrutha "Maan let her go..you can always go and meet her at home..."

gudiya opens her eyes suddenly and finds herself on bed, back in her room and back in her home. she sits up on bed confused rubbing her eyes calling for bunny, daadi and amrutha mamma.

Gudiya runs out of her room and finds gowri in kitchen making breakfast.

Gudiya "mamma... mujhe bunny ki paas jaana hain...abhi .." Gowri ignores her setting table for breakfast.

Gudiya "Mamma...aap sunnrahi ho...mujhe jaana hain..." Jasvindar comes to dining table reading news paper. Gowri haven't said a word about gudiya's kaarnama to her papa.

Jasvindar "Arre gudiya ..tum yaha..tum tho KM thi naa"

Gudiya "papa dekho na mamma mujhe waha se utakey lekey aahi hain...aur mujhe bunny ke saat london jaane nahi derahi hain...aap bolo na mamma ko"

Jasvindar raises eyebrows at his wife "abb hey kya naya zidd hain iski.."

Gowri bangs the table "gudiya go to your room ...wash your face and brush your teeth...then come down to have breakfast.."

Gudiya sits on the floor "nahii mujhe KM jaana hain ..abhi issi waqt..."

Gowri lifts gudiya from floor "you are not going anywhere...samji.. na KM ...aur na London...you are grounded ...go to your room right now..."

Gudiya looks at her papa for support. Jasvindar "Gudiya ...apni mamma maanlo...we will talk in the evening baccha ..abhi mujhe jaana hain...main late horaha hun" saying this jasvindar leaves the table.

Gudiya starts to cry chanting "mujhe abhi jaana hain...bunny ke paas...abhi ...abhi abhi jaana hain.."

Gowri had enough of all this and raises her hand to hit gudiya but stops in mid realizing what she is about to do "Geeet band karo hey roona dhoona... bunny don't want to take you to London with him..."

Gudiya stops crying "per hamari shaadi hogai hain na..."

Gowri "Gudiya ..stop repeating same thing. he can't take you with him baccha.." gowri hugs her finally not able to see her baby cry like that.

Gudiya cries even louder in her arms. Gowri "you are still a baby gudiya...aur bunny waha padne keliye jaaraha hain...agar tum uskey saath javogi tho tumhara kayal koun rakkega..?"

Gudiya is nowhere near to hear anything. She runs to her room and picks phone to call bunny.

Amrutha picks the call "hello.."

Gudiya cries on phone "ammu mamma...mujhe waha aana hain..abhi ...aap buuny ki phone do please.."

Maan has gone out with yash to t collect some documents from school. Amrutha "Gudiya maan ...aone papa ke saat bahar gaya hain...beta...kuch kaam se..wo aate hi main batha dungi...teekey.."

Gudiya got mad assuming everyone is trying to stop her from going London with bunny "jooth...sabb jooth...agar bunny ko mujhe nahi lekar jaana hain tho teekhey...per jooth kehane ki ka jarrorut hain...iska matlab daadi ne bhi jooth kaha tha kal...main sabbse katti...aapse bhi...bunny se bhi aur daadi se bhi...sabse katti ...mujhe mamma ke saath bejdiya...sabse katti" gudiya cuts the call before amrutha say anything to her.

Gudiya throws everything in her room breaking.. smashing ..hitting..then slept under the cot crying and mumbling that she is katti with everyone...how everyone lied to her..even her bunny lied to her...promising herself never going to talk with bunny and daadi for fooling her.

Maan has tried calling her to talk countless times but gudiya just ignores his calls or anyone who came to talk to her or tastes her wrath. Raj had got a nice bump on head for trying to be messenger for maan.

|| Chapter 11 ||

One week later, London

Maan adjusts his tie before stepping out of his dorm room which he is now sharing with another dorm mate Lee Martin, who is half Chinese and half American. His mother is from china where as his father is from USA.

Lee was busy at reading something waiting for maan. Both have met only two days back but instantly clicked with each other. Maan felt Lee is cool to be with as he talks less which is good thing for him.

Lee "maan lets go..we don't want to be late for our first day class. And we have yet to get the time slots for our lectures"

Maan grabs his back pack and leaves with lee. "lets go"

In school bus

Maan and Lee take last seat watching other kids getting on board. All kind of mixed kids from around the world but the ratio of American kids are more in bus.

They heard a group of 5 girls getting into the bus giggling talking with each other. Maan was uninterested in getting acquaintance with anyone except lee. Lee was looking at girls with wide eyes whistling slowly and waving at them. Lee "Ohhh I am definitely going to like this school"

Maan just looks at the bunch of girls and rolls his eyes. But one girl in that group with blue eyes, by attitude she must be the group's head kept staring at maan.

One of the girls in a group whispered something in blue eyed girl's ear making her to burst into laugh.

Lee elbows maan "Maan look...they are looking at us...what say which one you want to know..." asks him still looking at girls.

Maan said without looking at them but instead looking out of the window "Not interested"

Lee "Then I will pick that blue eyes girl.." says grinning at girls.

The blue eyed girl walks to them with another girl talking. She stops at the seat which is infront of maan's and lee's seat. There was another geeky kid who sat there minding his own business. The blue eyed girl snaps her fingers to him and says "Move"

The geeky kid jumps immediately and moves to another seat infront. The blue eyes girl sits along with another girl and turns back to maan and lee.

The blue eyed girl brings her hand forward to maan "Bella.."

But maan just looks at the girl and her hand, Lee takes her hand in his shaking "Lee and that's Maan "

Bella takes her hand back narrowing her gaze at lee and then at maan "Indian?"

Lee answers for maan "Yes and I am from LA (Los Angeles) "

Bella frowned when maan didn't bother to say anything. "Can't he talk?"

Lee "Of course he can but he talks very less but I talk more than him"

Bella ignores Lee thinking how rude the other guy is? How dare he ignore me, me? Boys are ready to do anything to get a glimpse of me or talk to me but this guy. Oh I am so going to enjoy taming him. But must admit he is hot.. And his rugged looks what attracts me the most but who cares! I am the queen and I will make him come to me. Let me see how long he can ignore me.

At school

Maan and Lee both go to consoler office to meet the consoler before the classes. Lee is about to knock on the door but finds a broad looking guy with mean look on his face confronts them.

Someone from inside the office warns the guy "Jack..Mind your language"

Maan looks at the guy with distaste. Jack sees maan looking at him and moves closer standing head to head touching his nose with maan's. "What's with you shit face ass? Huh? You wanna hit me...common hit me common f**kshit" jack holds maan's shirt by collar.

Maan says calmly "Leave my collar" Lee tries to break them apart.

The counselor comes out of his cabin hearing jack's threat and shouts at him to leave or else he will be suspended for another week from school.

Jack smirks and releases maan's collar mouthing silently I will get to you later punk..watch your back.

Counselor takes them inside to talk and informs them what to do and where to go handing them time slots and do's and don'ts list..

Maan and Lee both go to administrator office to collect their IDs and keys for lockers. Then both enter their first orientation class which is packed up. There were only few seats left out in middles and last for them.

Fortunately for bella and unfortunate for maan, she is in same grade as maan's and the big guy who they met at consoler office. Lee leans to maan whispering "dude...the beauty and beast both are in the same class as ours"

Maan just looks at them and ignores taking corner seat away from both. Lee sits beside him drumming on table watching each kid in the class

Bella and jack both gave looks to maan during the period, one's was impressive looks and other one's murderous. After the introductory class maan and lee goes to washroom. Maan comes out first and bumps into bella. Before maan realize what had just happened bella is in arms loosely hanging her arms around his neck blinking her blue eyes at him.

Maan helps her to stand straight and pushes her back gently leaving 2 foot space between them. "Sorry miss, I didn't see you coming there"

Bella flutters her eyelashes "Oh please call me bella ...After all I am yourrr...classmate! " Lee comes out and finds maan and bella talking.

Before bella say anything, someone calls maan by name. maan turns around to look who is calling him. There Brijendar Handa walks towards maan along with couple of guys behind him, wearing same uniform as maan's but different color blazer. Maan's is Navey blue and Brij's Brick red.

Though brij is 2 years older than maan, but both looks same age. Maan waves at him smiling, "hey maan...whats up bro..how is London treating you.."

Maan "so far so it's good."

Brij looks at the girl standing close to maan. For some reason, brij didn't like that girl and her skirt is too short as per school rules. Maan introduces Lee to brij and brij introduced his friends to maan. Brij "tomorrow is sunday I am going to Seema buwa's house for lunch. Why don't you join me? You can bring Lee too"

But maan have very important work to do tomorrow, Call his gudiya and home. It's been only a week since he came to London and he is already missing everyone back in India, especially maa, daadi and Gudiya. He is calling her daily since the day he stepped into London but as always she refuses to talk with him or listen to whatever he has to say. He heard from daadi that gudiya isn't talking with vicky either.

"Not tomorrow brij.. I have something important work to do...some other time." Brij "Okay but next you can't say no"

Maan "Oky.. Oh by the way meet me at my dorm after school.. I have your parcel from gowri aunty"

Brij "Cool..See you then..bye maan...bye lee"

Lee was watching maan with his jaws dropped open. Maan never talked more than one or two words since he met him but he is so cool and easy with this brij guy. Lee says bye to brij and asks maan "Dude...you talked more than one sentence..."

Maan looks at lee in confusion "So?"

Lee "see now you turned into "One word answering robot" So?..So.. You do talk like normal people"

Maan "hmmm"

Lee "sees again hmmm"

Maan "it's because brij is family"

Now its lee's turn to turn into "One word answering robot" "Hmmm?"

Maan changes the topic immediately. He is not yet comfortable talking about family with someone he just met couple of days back. Maybe some other day he will tell about his wonderful loving family and how much he misses them. "We are getting late for calculus class...move"

Lee "Oh fish..Let's go"

I have given three updates today, hope this compensates for not updating last Sunday. Let me know if you are linking the flow of the story, or you have any concerns/suggestions to share with me.
