The episode left a deep pain in me, the pain of loss.. It made me remember every loss I have encountered. I didn't shed tears, but I was crying inside, not for Anu, not for Ram, but for myself.. That's the power of this powerful portrayal..

Anu is no more. There is nothing else to say about the episode... Yes, Ram couldn't do the deed, I can relate to it. I can't do it too in his shoes. How can he himself take his beloved wife's life.. It is just impossible.. I thought maybe the love will give him strength, the love makes him want to end her pain, but if ending pain means ending the life? which is the better evil, he can't choose...

The scene was so beautiful and poignant.. Ram kissing Anu's forehead, her hands, and going near the switch with trembling hands. He remembers her suffering to give him the strength, but then he also remembers the happy moments, it breaks him down, he realises he just can't do it.. He confesses to Anu that he wants to grant her wish, but he just can't take her life.. Anu is determined to end her suffering, she is not ready to wait, she wants to go and that too now. She says she will do it herself and asks him to push the bed near the wall sothat she can reach the switch.. Ram realises Anu's determination, he had nothing to say any more, he pushed the bed with the heavy heart, but doesn't have it in him to watch her do it.. He walks out of the room as a broken man...

Meanwhile as expected, Mr. Kapoor gets to know about Anu's condition from the file sent by Dr, Trehan. He rushes to hospital and meet the broken Ram walking out.. Even now, he doesn't have it in him to call Ram by name, he calls him 'yey' and demands to know where is his daughter.. Ram doesn't answer and just walks off.. Mr. Kapoor and co searches for Anu's room (wonder why, they could have as well waited for the receptionist to reply). Anu in her room reaching to the switch with all the energy left in her while her parental family looks for her room. I know Anu will not survive today, but still I was hoping against hope that Anu would fail to reach the switch and somehow she would be saved... No such luck, Anu reaches the switch and turns it off, and here ends her pain... Her last thoughts with her happy family.,..

The rest of the episode is about how Mr, Kapoor tries to get her talk, the nurse & doctor trying in vain to revive her, Mr. Kapoor crying and begging her to wake up with one exception of Ahuja family neighbours waking up the kids and taking them to hospital..

Maybe I should feel some sympathy for Mr, Kapoor, but I didn't feel anything.. He killed it all when he declined to listen to Sooraj when he tried to tell something might be wrong with Anu..

Ok, Manika does have some feelings left for her sister, she did cry looking at her sister's deadbody..

Precap : kids arriving at hospital, crying over Anu, Mr, Kapoor trying to console Disha, Disha wants nothing to do with him and wants her papa... But where is Ram,.. The next big question..

End of the first phase of the show.. The Ahuja family is torn apart,. Can they survive this and live as a happy family again? Only time will tell !!

P.s : Not in a mood to deliberate about the possible future tracks now.. Maybe sometime over the weekend, will make another post..

You nailed it with your wonderful take👍🏼.

The episode was so powerful and very hard to control the emotions. Mr.Kapoor came very late, life gave him a chance to amend things with his daughter but he refused to listen out Ram and Sooraj. Now its way too late to even regret or have self pity.

My heart skipped so many beats. THIS episode has gotten me speechless. I actually don't know how to even like say anything.

I didn't expect Ram to back out. But he did, and yes that was realistic. He cannot just take the life out of someone he loves more than himself. Acting was as usual brilliant.

This episode must have been hard for Gurdeep to act out too. Gurdeep was also fabulous today.

For once, I concentrated on Mr. Kapoor, Manika, all those people. They were really good. Mr. Kapoor's scene got me real emotional.

Precap has a huge impact on me. I imagined myself in the shoes of Disha, as I have experienced coping up with the death of my dear ones.

Overall, this episode was heart wrenching, broke my heart into the tiniest pieces possible. And I'm an emotional person in general, so I got myself crying quite a bit. I have literally no words.

All I can say is perfection.

A very very very emotional Sanjana.

Thank you for the take. Powerful portrayal indeed, Geetha. If not for the brilliant acting by the actors, the pain and loss may not touch us so much. I've always felt that if a script did not have such good actors, it will always fall flat. The other way round too holds good. If actors are let down by the script, however good they are, it will not be able to touch the audience. Here, both actors and the script (barring some scenes) have been good. A special mention also for the production value, so far, so good.

The way Ram realised that this was THAT moment, the way he reacted when he realised that the moment to let Anu go had come, said good-bye to Anu so tenderly and hesitantly went to the machine but couldn't do the deed...kudos to Ram for his portrayal! Gurdeep and her emotions, hats off too! I don't think it's easy to enact such scenes but the actors and the director and team pulled them off so well.

How difficult it must be for both Ram and Anu to arrive at this moment. Who wants to die and leave her loving family and who wants to let a loved one go?

In a way, it was poetic justice that Anu's father did not get to meet his daughter before she died. My opinion, if you don't value someone or something before they die or before you lose that thing...then you sure don't deserve to cry over the loss. I felt Mr Kapoor was crying more over his guilt than his loss.

I wonder where Ram went. Yes, the time has started for the next phase of the show. Hope it's handled sensitively and well. If Ram is shown to fall into the depths of despair, a man who is in the pits...then it is to be expected. After what he had to do or rather, assist his wife in doing...the pain, loss and guilt will eat a person up. Would like to see him rise again, for his children and his late wife. And yes, make a name for himself in the music world and win awards like Anu wanted and wished for. That would make the story interesting, how a man falls and rises again with the help of his children. I wonder if that is what the makers have planned.

Thank you !! Yes, Mr. Kapoor came very late and I agree it is too late for regret or self pity, but I guess his guilt will make him behave more monstrously towards Ram

Yes, Sanjana. Even my heart skipped several beats..

Pankaj Dheer as Mr. Kapoor did a good job in the hospital scenes. But when he dropped the file at his home, it didn't look natural..

More than that, i cannot connect to the character's pain after the way he behaved in the last weeks. Yes, he has a right to grief, but I don't feel sorry for him, Infact I feel he deserve this punishment of not meeting Anu while she was alive.
Another tearjerker awaits us on Monday..

Yes Suganthi, A big kudos to the whole team, including writers, actors and the technical team!! They are doing a fantastic job 9 out of 10 times. That's a great average for a tv show I guess.

A special mention to the background music score. It gives me goosebumps at times. I have only 2 complaints..

1) they could have had a proper title track. In comparison with the background score, the title music sounds lame.

2) at times, they are using too much of close up shots, which makes us feel it is separate shoot shots, even when it is not.

Yes, we could so relate to Ram & Anu and what was going on in their mind yesterday, made possible only by the fabulous performances.

Yea, I did feel Mr. Kapoor deserved this, not meeting his daughter when she was breathing for all the vengeance he had shown when she was alive. But in second thoughts, I think the scene was planned this way (Mr. Kapoor & co entering the ward after Anu dies) to make it look like it was Ram who pulled the plug. Now it will be tough to conclusively find when she has stopped breathing. Let's see how the scenario unfolds..

Yes, Ram's rise from this tragedy is what we are looking forward, how he picks himself up for the sake of his children. But I think before it happens, they will probably show how Ram falls into more & more depression due to grief and guilt. He has not yet hit the rock bottom, that has to happen before the slow rise begins.. There are some more days / weeks of heartbreak awaiting us.

Till before yesterday's episode, I was of the opinion Ram would not undergo trial or even if he does, he will not go to prison, now I have a different thought process. Somehow him not able to do the deed makes me think he will accept the blame of pulling the plug thinking that is the punishment he deserves for not able to save Anu. You know, guilt makes people behave weird. He may think that now that his FIL and co are back in their lives, the kids will be taken care by them when he serves the jail term. In such case, they may have a short leap of couple of years, Ram coming out of prison as a shadow of his old happy self and the story may pickup from there..

I feel this is a better way of showing how he hit the rock bottom than them making him a drunkard or something like that.

Very sad episode today. :'(

You've mentioned all the points. Mr. Kapoor..😵 when people say do this or that before it's too late, I guess they are right. We have seen this with Anu & her father. :(

I think the kids will have the biggest shock/pain of their lives tomorrow in this show.

I wonder where Ram went. I just wish Anu could've seen her father once. I know he should've seen her way earlier but at least Anu's wish of seeing her father could've come true.

Nice take.

You are very true.. We postpone things in life assuming we have all the time in the world, but alas, at times it becomes too late,. That's what's happened with Mr. Kapoor.

Yes, from Anu's POV, she dearly wanted to see her father once before she died. I am glad atleast she got to hear his voice talking kindly (unlike the time when he spewed venom when they met at his home).

Poor kids, they certainly don't deserve this immense pain..
