Probably.

If Katrina can get one based solely on popularity, then Deepika sure as hell DESERVES one based not only on popularity but talent as well! I honestly could care less because these wax statues are more popularity based than talent and impact based.

I agree ..Plus dp is also the most popular actress right now ..She might get a statue in the next 5 years based on her popularity

If Bajirao Mastani is a hit and DP acts well and contributes to that film's success, then I would say that she deserves the MT statue.

Next 3,4 years are crucial

If she doesn't hit a false note like rani, preity (highly unlikely) and her popularity remains the same..she seems like the next candidate followed by alia ( if she stays consistent for the next 5,6 years)
