This Sunny starrer has got a first day opening of 5.30 crores, which is more that Anushka Sharma'sNH10 (3.35 crores), Amitabh Bachchan - Dhanush'sShamitabh (3.50 crores) and Suhant Singh Rajput'sDetective Byomkesh Bakshy! (4.20 crores) at the Domestic Box Office.

Produced by T-Series and Paperdoll Entertainment and directed by Bobby Khan, Ek Paheli Leela has done good business in single screens and rural region. CP Berar, CI and UP did manage to rake in good moolah on Day 1.

A superstar is one who can show longevity and shine in all kinds of movies and roles and STILL appeal to the audience. Give her 2 more years at most, and she'll be nowhere on the map. Jism 2 had a bumper opening and crashed; Ragini MMS 2 opened well and crashed; and now Leela opens poorly (and will most likely fall off quickly). See the trend? She's going down. Oh and let's not forget her Jackpot which no one even cared to watch.
