According to Ramayan, Tadka was Ravan's grandmother. And Kaikesi was Tadka's daughter. If this is true, why doesn't Ravan know her? In the show, they show that he doesn't know her when he first meets her??? And Mareech was Ravan's uncle.

I guess that's another blooper in Ravan...along with the many others....

Some versions of Ramayan say that Marich was Ravan's maternal uncle and that Kaikasi was Tadka's daughter. But not all stories say this. Valmiki Ramayan does not say any such thing. According to Valmiki Ramayan, Tadka was the wife of a demon Sund, who was the son of another demon Jambh.

According to Brahm Puran, Hlad was Hiranyaashipu's son; Sund was Hlad's son and Tadka married Sund. Sund and Tadka gave birth to Mareech.

If you read stories in scriptures in detail, then you will find that looking one way, there was one relation between two people and looking another way, entirely different relation existed between the same two people.
