Part 9

---------Khushi's Office
" I have an important to make and hence you are all assembled here today!" spoke Khushi Gupta, as usual garnering the attention of all, as soon as she began speaking.
"From today, Gupta InDesigns will have two CEOs, that is me and my best friend, Ms. Anjali Singh Raizada" announced Khushi, much to everyone's shock as everyone knew that Raizadas and Guptas have bitter relationships in between them but what Khushi Ma'am was saying was contradicting the almost universal truth.
" But this doesn't bring any change to our business rivalry with AR, owned by the Raizadas! Anjali is my best friend but her brother, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada is my rival" said Khushi, while taking deep breath while enunciating his name, which made her insides churn with hatred.
Anjali had realized the inner turmoil of Khushi and hence held her shoulder assuring her before delivering an introduction about herself to the office.
--------Arnav's Office,
" ASR, Di became the official CEO from today! She knows a lot of top secrets of our company so should we change them?" asked Aman hesitantly.
" NO" came the monosyllabic answer from Arnav Singh Raizada, who hadn't yet recovered from the grief of separation from his sister and redemption he was going through.
" But ASR..."
" I told you what to do. And I am the boss here, I guess Aman" said Arnav in a stern tone scaring Aman that he was back in ASR mode.
He knew his company would go into losses but what was the point of this money, if it couldn't buy happiness, redemption or bring back his Di to him.
He himself wanted to take those losses to payback the sins he had committed in his life for the sake of revenge.
Her forgiveness had become the reason for him to live, for him to breathe and for him to fall in love with her strength.
Arnav Singh raizada was thoroughly guilty of his atrocious act of revenge, which had cost a girl, her dignity and her innocence.
What was lost couldn't be retained, but what was remaining could be renewed.
" Khushi Gupta, now you will become Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada, by your own free will and only after forgiving me!"
When Arnav Singh Raizada wants something he gets it. And now when he wants the forgiveness of Khushi, he will get it too.

Evening,

" Ma'am, someone wants to meet you!" said the receptionist over the phone to Khushi, who thought about this mysterious person who wanted to meet her when almost everyone had left except for the night shift people.
" Who is it?" asked Khushi, while raising her eyebrow.
" Ma'am, Mr.Ar..." said the receptionist when Khushi cut her in between and said,
" Except for Shyam Gupta, if anyone else comes then send them!" said Khushi, as she thought that Arnav would never come to meet her at least.
" Yes, Ma'am!"

Khushi's Cabin,

After three curt yet very professional knocks, Khushi instructed the person knocking the door to come inside.
And the sight she had to beheld had shocked the hell out of her.
It was Arnav Singh Raizada in front of her, in all his three-piece suit glory.
Khushi gradually got up from her seat, in a shocked state.
" You??"
Khushi managed to whisper this much before her hatred took over the better of her.
" Why? You were expecting someone else?" asked Arnav, while smirking at Khushi's reaction on his presence.
" I would expect anyone but you, not even in my dreams!" shouted Khushi, on him, which made him raise her eyebrow, while still smirking.
"So you dream of someone else other than me? This is unfair to me, Khushi." said Arnav in a extremely husky voice, with a naughty tinge in his voice, which had angered Khushi.
" Get out, Mr.Raizada or else I will have to call the security for this purpose." screamed Khushi, while Arnav took long strides to her and kept a finger on her lips, shocking her.
" Khushi Gupta, I am here to meet my Di.Since I know she will not meet me if she comes to know that I came to meet her, I came here." whispered Arnav, in a deep husky voice.
Khushi Gupta?
Wasn't he accustomed to calling her Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada? Or anything by joining his name with hers?
Khushi was engrossed in thought while Arnav could clearly read her thoughts which were racing, literally.
He further leaned on her, lingering his breaths on her nape, making her gup, to whisper in her ears,
" Seems incomplete, isn't it?"
This was enough to bring back Khushi back to earth from the cloud of her thoughts. She pushed him with all the strength she possessed in her and shouted,
" Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, enough of misbehaving with me! And about being incomplete, who would be complete with an incomplete person? About Anjali, she left for the day, and maybe even she was here she wouldn't have spoken with you, as she hates you but not as much as I hate you!"
" Khushi, I am genuinely sorry for what I did!" said Arnav, instantaneously.
" A mere sorry will not correct your deeds or heals my wounds, Raizada!" said Khushi, turning around so that she wouldn't have to face him, as his face only made her feel more angry and she was scared to lose her control.

Truly indeed, a sorry wouldn't correct his extremely uncivilized deeds. But the fire of redemption in which he was getting burnt was making him die every moment, craving for her forgiveness.
Or maybe even her love?

I dunno what exactly to say about this chapter, because it was a bit high on emotions even though it had flirting by Arnav and all. But it is a short chapter because I am extremely busy and this couldn't have been described very well, even if I wanted to.
