Well I was checking some old threads of our forum...

Discussion of the week(DOTW)-a very nice initiative to bring more fun and enthusiasm on the forum...I joined IF in 2014 that's why I couldn't participate in those discussions...this time we have many new members here...so..how many of you want DOTW back...??

We have many new topics now..if yes plz vote for yes...if no,then no problem...😊

Personally I'm divided. I think even without the DOTW we do have lots of discussion and along with the DOTW usually only had a person reply to the questions, not really discuss them. But if we do bring them back then I would participate.

Actually i was not active then so i don't know about all of the discussions...i saw those threads and i found them interesting...

thats why i want it back...baki quality discussions karna to hamari responsibility hai.😊..anyways thanks for the reply..😊

Somehow discussion threads turn into comparison with golden era and we all end up venting out and feeling miserable. 😔

People are free to open new threads intended to discuss a topic,I loved DOTWs,but at the same time it sometimes forces the TM to open a topic just out of formality to do so on a weekly basis..so I don't support it anymore.

maybe we can do something new... like ...

quiz of the week - a questionnaire can be prepared and posted regarding characters ,episodes and related to cid.. but a possibility is there that people might look out for Q's from the net and answer correctly ,which will then not be genuine . there can be many other loopholes... but this was just an idea...

maybe game of the week - related to cid ..

these were just random ideas i got at the spur of a moment as some ppl are not in favour of DOTW..

you can oppose this too..😆

We've had such stuff too..but again if a game is posted just out of formality of doing so,it starts getting lame.
Everyone is free to post anything related to CID,I don't want it to become a formality for anyone.

^ I agree with Mini. I would rather like it if it's a surprise and done at random because those are more likely to get the real informal participation rather than out of formality since it's something that happens each week.
