Sentiment Broken, Promises slashed and betrayal
An emotional moment starts off the episode as Shekhar and Sharmistha walk away from each other; their eyes meet, as if to say it's the last good-bye. It's hard for her to swallow and for Shekhar to in-take but they move on. For the moment they wish time had stopped right then, they could just stare into their eyes and have that silent conversation, that moment that is very special to them but alas, reality kicks in as both walk away from each other, tear eyed.
On the other side, their children, Ragini and Swara look on as they sense the immense love their parents has for each other, but during the time, Swara gets a call from Laksh, after which she hurries off.
Laksh meanwhile waits for Swara and as she comes he seems to have a moment with her, it's as if maybe she is the one, but of course time will tell and depends upon how CVs take this.
For now Laksh and Swara are only friends. Laksh has this inner turn-moil of guilt within him, with one move of his, has led to such result, that guilt was so visible on his face. Swallowing the thought, he reveals his dad's entire motive to Swara, and says his dad now is escalating this too far, and rightly said so.
He has this gutted guilt within him as he does admit he was the man behind the video, and wants to open up and for once do the right thing and reveal it to all but he needs time and the right moment, the situation today was not the right time.
He is not a bad person, I'd say that. The situation he himself has been in, the rules and regulations, the constant dominance of his dad, it's taken a huge toll in his life, yes what he has done is wrong, but he did have the right motive (I've mentioned this in my previous post too). He for one sees Ragini as a nice person but not as a life-partner, he wants her to be happy, he wants her to move ahead and not get into what he felt was a forced relationship where no one would be happy but unfortunately this has taken a massive U turn.
He also admittedly says he never has had a heart beating for Ragini; he does admit she is a lovely person but never loved or saw her from that perspective.
On the other side, in contrast is a broken Ragini, a girl whom had a massive heart break. The way she was clutching onto the Jacket and on the hand cuffs was truly heart touching.
It was her inner-turn moil that she could not forget him, she had truly and still truly loves him, yet he does not see her that way. Her heart has been shattered to pieces, she wants to cry yet holds back her tears, it really was heart touching. But what emerged from his was a Ragini whom would be so strong that she could forget him and move on, but then she knew as well that it is easier said than done, her heart has massively been broke, and to mend it will take time but it is this hurt that will help her move forward in life and create a name of her own, an image more-like.
Sharmistha and Shekhar have their own moment once again, they don't speak much but their expressions say it for itself. They were concealed from their love for 20 whole years, it was the moment when both had been heart broken, and Shekhar was the one whom had taken the step to break Sharmistha and her heart which he truly regrets but like I said, Shekhar himself was bound, forced to break her heart. And over the 20 year period their turn-moil and their relationship itself had gone sour, but now after so many years, after everything being almost open book, they still cannot be together. They knew it was once again not possible the star crossed lovers that they were. It was a very sentimental scene which was done to perfection by these two.
Now coming back to Ragini's house, drums roll on and Ragini's grandmother looks frightened, Ragini looks bewildered by the situation as she wonders what is going on AND questions them.
The words barely left her lips and in comes the Hitler of all Hitler, Mr Maheshwari. He begins his lecture on self-respect once again, which he does not have an ounce of. I am again left to wonder what this guy is made of. He has so much antagonism, that burning fury that it is almost impossible to blow it. And then the horror begins as Mr Maheshwari wrath and insults fall upon the Gordodia family. They beg, they ask for forgiveness yet he fails to see it all. In front of everyone he affronts them and treats them like a piece of scrap. Then the biggest insults be-falls on them, as the colour black is put on Hitler dadaji's face, Swara and Ragini along with Hitler Dadi are in complete and utter shock. Here dida was right, some people in the society are beyond evil.
Everyone looks on during the period while his wife (Hitler Dadi) continues to ask him to stop but alas this guy aims to break them apart. And he continues. The perfect moment here was when he gets the slap in the face from Shekhar. That was the perfection, the most tremendous moment of the episode, a furious Shekhar giving one tight slap to Him, it was awesome.
This does not last long as Shekhar is thrashed and beaten, Ragini begins to scream and shout here asking someone to stop, asking Swara to do something , asking for anyone out there an adult to come forward, but alas no one does, all stand like cowards, as if watching a show, no one dares to come forward but just stands at the "horror" giving those glances.
Beaten and thrashed but Shekhar refuses to give in as he fights for his daughters and his parents, but him alone is unable to take it, and it's when Sharmistha steps in to protect her love, this was the moment which showed she is ready to do anything for him but she too gets thrashed. Laksh tries to intervene but yet again threatened by it and made to back out, with a heavy heart once again he does so.
A family that used to have its head held high and have a status was broken down beyond belief today. All their images thrashed within spilt second...A sad heart touching episode indeed. But you know, hope still lives in, within Swaragini.
Episode ends with Ragini screaming stop it, enough is enough and both sisters joining hands. It's the bond that will never be broken, it's that irreplaceable bond that will work as their strength.
