Asha Negi, who recently returned from South Africa, had a good time while shooting for the fifth season of the reality TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. We caught up with Asha to talk about the show and more.
How was your experience of shooting for the show?
It was surprisingly amazing because I never expected myself to do so well on the show. I am the sort of a person who always underestimates herself. I was not confident about the show, so I said no for it couple of times before. I did not really want to embarrass myself on the show while doing those stunts. However, Rithvik confided in me and convinced me to participate this time. I really did well on the show and made some good friends too. I am glad that I participated in the show.
What challenges did you face on the show?
More than the physical stunts, the show tests your will power and mental strength. People gave up right in the middle of so many stunts. I used to think to myself that I could not do this and just go back. However, the only thing that pulled me through was determination and focus.
Did you get to travel around and see places as well?
Not really because we didn't have any time to roam about. Whenever we would get time, we eat out at restaurants, party, and shop.
Tell us something about your future plans...
I have finalised anything yet, but I am in talks with some people. I am actually being quite choosy after Ek Mutthi Aasmaan did not do well and went off-air in a month. So now, I am thinking a lot. I guess I will take my own sweet time!
Are you keen on acting in Bollywood films?
I am, but I am not very desperate. So many films just come and go. You do not even get to know which film came and people hardly get to watch it. So, I am not really in a rush. Probably, if I get an offer from a great banner, then I would act in films. Else, I am happy and content with television industry.
