How did Maya get affected by the Nag Vish, if she is a descendant of the Nagas as mentioned by Nanu in today's episode?

The episode could have been cut-short by miles, the elaborate antim-sanskar procedure reduced the pace of the show. Gautam's expressions were brilliant while performing the funeral rites. He is a master at subtle acting👏

And,

I still miss Dadi 😔

Firstly, I think Maya's father was not a Naag descendent but her mom is a Naag descendent..
So perhaps she inherited her dad's qualities only.

Secondly, assuming Maya is a pure Naag descendent doesn't automatically mean.. ur immune to all kinds of Naag vish in this world?! I mean.. there I'l be some of the rare vish which might still affect u coz ur not protected by ur genes?!
Yes.. being a Naag descendent.. if u know ie hav knowledge abt Vish.. then u will be able to prepare antidote also ( I guess all Naag descendent know how to prepare antidote for vish )

I agree to Swetha. I guess Maya has survived so far with the vish may be because she has Nagas genes in her from her mother's side. Hence the Vish is not taking her down as it would do to others. But as rightly said by Swetha she may not be a completely Nag descendant and hence over time it can kill her. Hence Bhairavi is asking Rudra to find the antidote.
Usually in case of Vish, especially Nag Vish it is said that the best cure is if it is taken by the person who has given it. But if Nag who gave the vish takes it, this person survives, but then the one who took the vish dies.
