Dabbu didn't get the job, but we got a wonderful scene with jeene ke ishare mil gaye first scene of Dabbu and Dylan -The Aquarium scene

But guess what-the man behind Dabbu not getting the job is Dylan...

Sitting in the restaurant wherein the Thakurs are there after the aquarium scene, he thinks why did he do that doesnt know as the girl who he made her get the job is hilarious, freaks out in small things all ahhh-ooohh types!

Yeah. Slight deviation from the novel, but in the show, nothing else would have done properly for an initial MU. Also liked how Dabbu didnt go crying all over the place. Job hai dusra mil jayega- and I guess Dylan dilwayega. Lol.
