------------------

I love love love the contrast between A/K and A/L. It's so interesting to see these two relationships side by side- one that's falling apart, and one that's working well. At the same time, it's interesting to see how A/K's marriage is affecting A/L. It's so hard to watch close friends break up, and it is most definitely a struggle to keep your mouth shut and not say anything. But sometimes... that's the best, and only thing you can do. P.S.: I also happen to agree with L that it's not her place to say anything, actually.

I love the image of Arnav with a coffee mug in his hands, a phone in the other, with his hair slicked back and trimmed. Sigh. Now if only we could gift a pair of scissors to the actor playing him... šŸ˜†

Hobo issues aside...(look! An elipsis!): K/L friendship. I freaking adore your friendships. These two are so damn real. Lavanya is such a good friend to her- she doesn't push her too hard, but still forces her to confront her feelings. She doesn't push advice on her, and I love that.

I felt so bad for K when it hit her that Arnav had never said anything to her about this. This was something they started together, and it must have hurt like hell to have him not say anything. But at the same time, you paralleled it with Arnav- who wanted to say something, but didn't want to subject himself to her not caring.

"Do you hate me that much for not calling me first?"- Ahhh Di! You made my heart ache for Arnav. He's so hurt right now- and she is too, and I just- gah! I loved their conversation- it was tinged with so much nostalgia and just a little bit of hope when they share a laugh. It must have been so long for them, and I can just feel the bittersweetness of the moment. And then... uff.

It's so hard to watch- I agree with Aman. Standing on the sidelines is the worst.

Love always,
Choti.

Friends who genuinely care for you are one of the greatest gifts in life. It's very interesting reading of Aman's and La's thoughts on Arnav and Khushi's relationship. Aman's bewilderment stemming from the suddenness at the turn of events. At having the very people who taught him to believe in love reaching a point of seemingly irreparable breakdown. I really like the way you've shown La keep Khushi's confidence and have confidence in Arnav fighting for this marriage. She clearly has an excellent rapport with both of them. There with a shoulder to cry on but also there with sound advice. The best combination. A woman of integrity and substance.

I love the way you've shown the thoughts and emotions running through Khushi's mind. She wants them to move on away from each other even while wanting to be there to share his achievements. Her tearful pride at his success an indication of her feelings for him.

That scene with him coming home to find her asleep with his image on the TV was so moving. The love, the pain so evident in both of them. You're brilliant with imagery Jigs, be it of the characters themselves or of the ambience painted to reflect their emotions. As you did with their conversation in the car. A snapshot of them at that moment - worry, care, camaraderie all so quickly dissolving into the ever present underlying issues. For me, it seemed this is where Arnav truly comprehends how serious Khushi is about wanting the divorce. And how serious he is about not wanting it.

You're doing an amazing job in making us all really delve into our thoughts and beliefs about what marriage means my darling. There can be no absolutes in relationships. Who's wrong who's right is all a matter of perspective. Leaving me pondering, some things in life are worth fighting for ... or are they ...

Made it --- Yay! Tuesday can't get any better
***********

I should admit that after the experience of the last few chapters, I was ready for a heart pinch. But as always, along with the pinch you somehow managed to tickle it too. And as usual, the pain of the chapter subsides after a while, but the beauty of your writing lingers on for a long time...hamesha!!!

How is it that when people are hurt, they pick so many hints that the others did not intend and miss so many hints that the others want you to pick. I am beginning to wonder what is a bigger struggle - hurting others or helping self?

I will wait for some more chapters before I try to answer some my own questions. But for now, I have to say that you have captured the painful essence of that struggle so beautifully. I can finally feel that my reveling in the "Revealed" has begun😊.

Firstly, thanks for a bit more insight into the Mathur's. I do not agree completely that there wasn't a damn thing they could do for Arshi. Them being there for Arshi, them offering a let out for Arshi, and them offering a contrast to Arshi is already doing a lot. Unlike a broken machine, fixing a broken relationship does not involve sitting and working on it. It involves more of showing the broken relationship, how much better it can be if it actually works. I think Mathur's are going to be a great help even if they realize it or not.

Arnav - The coffee mug rinse, carrying Khushi to her bedroom, the car breakdown help

Khushi - A close up pause on TV of Arnav, the streaks from the tears, the casual car chat

Some gestures have an uncanny way of punching much above their weight. These simple yet sweet gestures goes to prove that, the mind may wander and get lost for a while but the heart for sure always knows when to increase that beat and make sure we don't miss those moments. Thanks for sprinkling those moments all around the chapter.

The history of their relationship is getting more interesting and more intriguing now and I cannot wait to hear more about that. I know that I have bought the unlimited ride package and knowing that just a few twists and turns on the roller coaster already made this so exciting, I cannot wait to see what all that the full ride has in store for us😊. I am ready for next drop...bring it on Jigs.

Jigs, it hurts a lot to see these two hurting.
What a wonderfully written update this was!!!!! šŸ‘

My heart was crying as your words were flowing. I kept telling myself, no no, there has to be something which can be done to save their marriage, there has to be some way out of this emotional maze they have built around themselves. Dammit, what is it??? Everything is still very dark and blurr. I am not able to decide which direction they should go to get themselves out of this situation towards positive happier future.

I feel that Arnav and Khushi are like people stranded on a big desolate island and they dont know which direction they should start walking to get help.

And when marriages break, it is not just the couple who suffer but their near ones suffer too. Aman and Lavanya too are affected so much with their impending separation.

It was Arnav's big day and neither Khushi was there with him nor did she know about it. Ouch!!! It hurts when people you love dont share such important information with you. But again is this not what Khushi wants. Is that the reason Arnav did not tell her? Did he think that she will realise what she will miss once they are separated?

So Khushi was indeed stuck in the snow. I know how tricky and unsafe it is to drive during snow storms. Arnav must have been really hurt when he saw that she had not called him first about the little accident. Actually practically speaking Arnav is correct atleast in this situation. What if the cell phone battery had died and the car engine had stopped. She would have frozen to death without the heating in the car.

You know Jigs, the above incident tells me a little bit about Khushi's character too. Though I am not judging her but still she feels like a person who probably is very independent by nature and hates to take help from others. And maybe does not like others interfering in her matters too. Was this one of the reason for them drifting apart???

She invited this darkness not him, but she had her reasons and in the end he would be better off without her.

I really dont know if her reasons are valid enough for a divorce, but I really hope that Arnav knows them soon. Well someone has to take the first step towards talking and I am just waiting patiently to see who will take that first step.
