I'm not sure if I'm heartless to have not felt the warmth or the intensity of the scene where Ishita woke up with a start...and got flustered thinking if she had set the alarm or not (to wake Ruhi up) and Raman held her, consoling her, making her understand that Ruhi isn't there in the house anymore...There was this ENTIRE spell in YHM where Ishita didn't even look at Ruhi...think of her...I distinctly remember the Mani track where Ishita CLEARLY had other priorities...and suddenly, the CVs have flooded the show with little tidbits making it seem Ishita has been going gaga over Ruhi all this while...That's why its so necessary to maintain consistency in the show...Anyway, just popped into my head
Saw Ashok and Suraj after a long time... As usual, since both are jobless and Ashok seems to be getting paid for vellapanti and bitching...they discussed about Raman and how he lost Ruhi's custody...Suraj asked about Mihika's child and what Ashok is planning to do about the same... "Naam toh tera hi lagega uske aage...duniya ke saamne toh tu hi uska baap banega" Suraj taunted his brother...What a stupid, laughable conversation...The way new and sordid tracks kept coming up now and then, main toh bhool bhi gayi thi ki Mihika ne pregnant hone ka natak bhi kiya tha...Why are they still bothering with that angle?? Mihir is anyway married to Rinki...Mihika might as well get pregnant with Ashok's child..I hardly care...Lambu amuses me, at the most...
Suraj is suggesting Ashok get the child aborted... and then he can throw Mihika out of the house if he wants..Mihika would SO be looking forward to it, to get of the house, that is...BUT personally, I DO NOT want Mihika to be thrown out of the house...coz then, ultimately, she'll end up coming back to the Iyers' (since her mom in Chennai doesn't seem to be calling on her ever or asking about her) and end up seeing Mihir's face every now and then...phir iss mauke ka fayda uthake the CVs will introduce a love triangle..and that will be too much for me to bear..coz I really, really like RiMi pair by now
Sr.Bhalla looked stricken, sitting at the dining table...Ishita is busy calling Ruhi...she is worried if Ruhi's gone to school...Ishita is confident Ruhi must be sleeping back in the hotel, since Shagun would've woken up late and not bothered to drop her off at school...Adi's left for his football camp early in the morning and Raman has gone to drop him off at the camp..
The coach is praising Adi...Raman informed the coach Adi is very sensitive... "please take care", he says ... "Football jaisi uski jaan hai..jab woh football khelta hai toh woh sab kuch bhool jata hai" the coach assures him...
Back at the school, Ishita has arrived with Simmi...to inquire about Simmi...The guard stopped Ishita at the gate... said something mean, along the lines of "yahan sirf bacchon ko allow karte hain"
"Aaj subah soke hi nai uthi hogi...aaj subah taekwondo class bhi nahin gayi hogi..."Ishita kept muttering to herself, when Shagun appeared with Ruhi by her side... Though taken aback for a second, Ishita composed herself "First bell ho gayi hai...tum aaj late ho gayi ho" Ishita said to Ruhi...
"Ruhi taekwondo class gayi thi..5 minute late nikli wahan se..note hai..tum hamesha show-off kyun karti ho" Shagun taunted Ishita
"Tum taekwondo class gayi thi?" Ishu and Simmi are both shocked..and, so are We

Before leaving for her class, Ruhi even kissed Shagun on her cheek... I was HURT. NO...I DON'T WANT RUHI TO FALL IN SHAGUN'S TRAP..AND NO, I DON'T WANT ANYBODY ELSE TO HAVE A PIECE OF HER LOVE...Not that bitch...
Shagun dissed Ishita.. "Woh nahin chahti hai ki tum uske peeche peeche aao...woh dheere dheere tumhen bhool jayegi...And waise bhi, TUM uski Sauteli Maa ho...Sauteli maa aakhir Sauteli hoti hai...main uska khayaal cchi tarah se rakh sakti hun...Im her Mother, get that?"
Back in Bhalla House, Simmi informed Raman of this incident, getting worried Ishita might get stressed if Ruhi continues to get distant with her...Wahan Ishita is distressed and going mad over Ruhi...
"Mera dil iss liye dehal raha hai kyunki meri bacchi mere bina khush hai...She's so happy without me...woh apni zindagi jee rahi hai...Ruhi mujhse chhinn gayi hai" Ishita confides in Raman...Im amazed at how dignified, and naaraz Ruhi is about this whole thing...She isn't anything like her Ishima...I cant say she's got Raman's temper either, coz she isn't short-fused, shooting off in all possible directions, at whoever she feels like...she's her own...completely different temperament...She isn't likely to forget this slight on the part of her parents, this soon...Ruhi's behaviour is an eye-opener to all parents...who probably take their children for granted, thinking they're too young and prolly not worth paying attention to
In the suite, Shagun's muttering how tired Ruhi makes her...The doorbell rang, Mihir has gone to receive Shagun... "Main toh tumhare liye exist nahin karti hun...achanak kya ho gaya?"
"Apne ego mein apni reality mat bhoolo"
"75,600/- Iss Alishan ghar ka bill"...Mihir shoved the hotel bills in her face "College tak toh tumhen Mom ne support kiya, phir Raman Bhai ne support kiya aur phir Ashok ne...Ab kaun hai Shagun? Ab kaun support karega tumhari high-flying South Delhi life?? Raman Bhai tumhen ek paisa nahin denge...Aise mein behter hoga agar tum mere paas rehne aa jao..."
Obviously, that was orchestrated by Raman... nice move, to get the vamp back to Mihir's house...He probably wants to make sure Ruhi doesn't get spoilt rotten living alone with the bitch...Atleast, Mihir and Rinki will prevent some of the damage that may accrue to the poor kid on account of staying with the witch...But then, if that's the case..then how come Mihir wont be able to stop Shagun from using Roo to earn money?? God only knows..Im tired of thinking from every angle possible..
Ishita is busy browsing through old albums...looking at Ruhi's pictures... Raman tried to cheer her up by making a pretense of looking for his stuff...in the drawer, in the cupboard...Ishita offered to help him "Tum kaise dhoond sakti ho?? Tumhari toh smile gayab hai..itne dinon se dikhi hi nai...aur woh sirf tumhare paas hai"
"Ek baat poochun...Ruhi mujhe yaad karti hogi?"Clearly, Ishita can only think of Ruhi
"Ruhi...SIRF tumhen yaad karti hogi.." Raman assured her
"Phir woh mujhe maaf kyun nahin kar deti?"
Shravu came running, with his pregnant mother yelling behind him...Vandu looks SO CUTE..I totally GORGED on her when she yelled at Shravu...Was reminded of my mother and how she yelled at me..."Shravu...Chithi ke pair mein chot aayi hai...Cant you see?" They are warring over Chinese food...Shravu is insisting on feasting on Chinese, whereas Vandu is protesting against the same citing pukish tendencies..."Beta...Mamma apne liye nahin, baby ke liye khati hai...Baby ko Chinese pasand nai hai"
Vandu requests Raman to take Shravu and feed him some good Chinese food...Raman says he doesnt mind accompanying Shravu, but then, who'll take care of Ishita?? Shravu insists Chithi go with him...Ishita agrees to accompanying Shravu to the Chinese restaurant... "Chalo theek hai, aao, tumhare kapde change karwata hun"
"Kya?" Ishita asked, surprised.not sure she had heard the right thing
"Kapde...tum apne change karna...main apne change karunga"
"Haan...pair toota hai, haath nai"
"Main toh sirf chance le raha tha"
On another day, in another time...I would've FEASTED on this nuanced conversation between the leads..but today, I was just Okay'...it didn't strike a chord with me...Maybe coz the track itself is so HORRENDOUS I cant concentrate on anything else...And also, coz Raman has been sporting the DevDas look for more than a month now..and is looking tired..
So, Mihir Chachu has taken Ruhi to an awesome restaurant to treat her to her favourite Chinese delicacies (prolly the same Chinese resto Ishita is going to, with Shravan) Ruhi is pleasantly surprised, and asked Mihir how he knows about her fav choices on the menu...She gingerly spreads the napkin on her lap...recalling everything her Ishima taught her... Shagun arrived as well.. "Arrey waah...itna neatly kha rahe ho...Good girl"
"Ishima ne sikhaya" A beaming Shagun looked stung...I was glad ki chalo, naaraz hokar hi sahi, Ruhi ne Ishita ko yaad toh kiya...
Ishita is sitting with her back to the trio sitting far away in a corner...gushing about Ruhi..how she would keep feasting on her fav food... how she kept frequenting this restaurant...Raman has served a whole lot of food on Ishita's plate, whereas Shravu insists she eat it all, since "Food waste nai karte"
As they begin eating, Raman keeps getting calls from Ashok... it was regarding some national campaign Ashok's company were launching...Raman told Ashok he was out with his family...and would take some time...Ashok asked him where he is, Raman named the restaurant...Ashok said, "No problem...Hum wahin aa jate hain..15 minute ka discussion hai...phir tum chale jaana" Realising Raman has an urgent work meeting to attend, Iishita asks him to go finish his work, while chatting with Shravu...
Shravu showed his little pinky and scooted off to run to the restroom... And saw Ruhi sitting at a table near on the way to the restroom... the cousins hugged...Shagun looked like Christmas just went by too soon... "Chal, mere table pe chalke baat karenge" Shravu offered...
"Vandu Chithi aayi hai kya?" Ruhi asked, excited
"Nai ...Ishita Chithi...woh dekh" Shravu pointed at Ishita, sitting far away
Ruhi looked at Ishita;s back profile...sad and sullen..probably thinking her Ishima is off enjoying her time (despite a broken leg and her absence) without her...
By this time, Shagun has gotten out of her seat and come stood beside the cousins..apprehending any possible bonding overdue between Ruhi and her Ishima

Shravu kept insisting, Ruhi kept refusing... Shagun got pissed and told Shravan to back off, since Ruhi wasnt interested in going over to Ishita and speaking with her...
In the meanwhile, Ashok and the other guy who have met Raman at a diff table in the same restaurant, chance upon a downcast Ruhi...standing alone, in the centre.. The other guy pointed at Ruhi and said, "Woh bacchi dekh rahe hain aap...uska naam Ruhi hai...humein apne product ke liye bilkul aisi hi bacchi chahiye...bilkul innocent...bilkul different sa face"
The precap didnt show any such reaction from Raman's end, but I suspect its not going to be positive...since he doesnt want his daughter to get exposed to the glamour world this early...Ishita is also in the same restaurant and I wonder - will SHE be a witness to this drama?? If yes, then I guess she will definitely resist ...Shagun, on the other hand would strike gold...kuch kiya nahin, aur fayda apne aap chalke kadmon pe aaya...
My ONLY question - Shagun YHM se kab jayegi??
