Gaurav Sacked!! - An article

Gaurav Chopra, who was supposed to play an important role in the Filmi's upcoming show ' Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai' and had even shot for the pilot, has been sacked from the show due to his unreasonable demand for cutting the screen space of veteran television actress Neena Gupta. The show is a comedy and features in the lead Neena Gupta with Kanwaljeet and Gaurav was to play an important role in it. But his demands for more money and more screen space led the Moving Picture Company, the producer of the show, to throw him out.

As a source from the production house says, ' When Gaurav signed the show, he did not have any problems with the show. it was just a day before the shooting, when the creative team had a meeting with Gaurav. Suddenly, he started acting very weird. He had numerous problems with the scritp and wanted it to be rewritten. He could not stand the fact that Neena Gupta has a prominent role. It was really funny watching Gaurav fight over the Neena's screen space and he in fact wanted Neena's lines changed.'

Now, Sachin Sharma will take the place of Gaurav Chopra in the serial while Gaurav is busy with Sab TV's Left Right Left. His role in the serial has got more prominence now as the track of the main lead played by Rajeev Khandelwal ended and focus has shifted to Capt Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan being played by Gaurav.
