Respect Janta's decision

It was unbecoming on part of Abhijeet to have torn the envelope which placed Abhilasha in chakravat on Friday Aug 24th episode. She had brought this upon herself because of her blunders and public had given their just verdict.

This behaviour of insulting the public decision will not help if the show wants to win the hearts of the handful viewers who follow this show for the sake of the young singers who are gradually making an impression against all odds.

After all it is the prerogative of the public to vote whoever he wants to by spending his own hard earned money. Abhijeet should mind that the public is the one who makes the show successful with votes and viewership which in turn result in revenue for the channel & producers through SMS and AD revenue. Why crib and show displeasure against the janta when you have chosen this format and begging the public week after week for votes?

Now the format of the show is such that there will bound to be four contestants in the bottom and one of them will be eliminated on the basis of public voting. When in an earlier episode Abhijeet himself had boasted that we had the 12 best singers in the whole of India and any elimination means the loss of a good singer. But what about the remaining, aren't they good? When someone or other has to go every week as per the rules of the game why so much gimmicks and a funeral atmosphere on their exit. Please let them go happy and smiling, they will atleast not go with bad memories.

Or the final remedy, chuck the format, stop asking the public for votes and let the judges themselves do all the choosing and sacking.

I fully agree with what you say. sometimes i wonder why all this pampering is going on for abhilasha. what is it that is making these judges especially alka to treat abhilasha like a baby...stop it alka you are making it so obvious to all and guess what we now know without any doubt that abhilasha is already set in your mind and she will be the #1 Amul VOI regardless of how she sings and the mistakes she makes - so why are you people wasting your time and the time of the viewers????????? 😡 😡 😡

First of all... Abhijeet did not show angry faces while tearing the paper.... he did not shout on the public... what he said was dont worry u will be fine to abhilasha... he said you dont worry about this paper.... I dont think he in anyway disrespected the public in the whole act....

i cant respect public opinion, the way the girls were going gaga over not so good performances of toshi and harshit yesterday..... is that opinion of public to be respected???? who support the worse singers in lot?? yesterday's best performances were Abhilasha and Arshpreet....

Abhilasha has sung the most variety of the songs in the contest and never slipped from surs except for one song where her throat was bad and voice cracked.... that also she sang in surs but voice cracked in higher notes... the only mistake she has done till date is that she gets nervous and forgot lyrics in two songs.... but for that she was punished by not giving chance to sing second time and giving rude comments.... the fact is that she is a unique voice which can give us many melodious or whatever kind of playback songs in future... and her ouster would really be a disaster striking VOI....

Its only Abhilasha and Mirande, who at this point of time take on playback...IMO😃
