Many a slip!

Sources from the show said the actress was minutes from the finishing line when the injury happened. She had to cross a stream during the last lap, to reach the finishing line.

But Achint fell and hurt her leg during the round, and was declared medically unfit to continue. She says she has no regrets about not being able to win a cash prize, as her biggest was being in the lap of nature.

Nature cure

"After coming back I am asking everybody to try this once in their life. Breathing the fresh air and being away from all the pollution and chaos made me realise how important it is to be one with nature. I had a fabulous time and had loads of fun."

On the work front, Achint is excited about her character Amba, in Zee's Piya Ka Ghar. "I am always thrilled to take on newer roles and Amba is a character totally different from what I have done in Kyunki and Kahaani. Not only is her look very distinctive, but her mannerisms also set her apart."

However, she affirms that as of now, it is a cameo role and she has no plans to be a permanent part of the show. "I am looking out for short roles, which are challenging and fun. I have no intention of getting stuck in a rut," she explains.
