Ranveer to undergo surgery reveals loudmouth Arjun Kapoor

The injured actor received some much-needed good wishes from his buddy Arjun Kapoor, who checked up on him on returning to Mumbai

As Ranveer Singh recuperates after sustaining an injury on the sets of Bajirao Mastani, some respite came in the form of good wishes from his close friend Arjun Kapoor. Arjun, who as been out of Mumbai after the release of Tevar, checked up on Ranveer as soon as he returned to the city.

"Ranveer and I are always in touch. Since I was out of town, I haven't had the chance to catch up with him. I dropped him a message to check on his health," said Arjun.

The actor also recalled how Ranveer had gamely soldiered on with the making of Gunday even though he had injured his foot then. "Ranveer's a thorough professional. Irrespective of whatever injuries he suffers, Ranveer will ensure that his work is never affected," Arjun added.

Interestingly, during our conversation, Arjun dropped a hint about Ranveer undergoing a "surgery". However, his manager later retracted the statement, saying that Arjun had meant "injury". Hmm... is this an attempt to keep Ranveer's injury low profile or was it a genuine slip-up on Arjun's part? We'll have to wait and see...
