i like the promotion of bv already. the biggest problem with any movie, when the movie gets delayed and the producer and director keep pouring or should i say wasting money on it.

if you have noticed, its mostly small movies that are making waves with critics and also to janta for last couple of months ..at least to some extent. some even without promotions.

if the money is big, movie is big, stars are big, then janta also expect everything big.

i liked the trailer...actually loved it. i cannot to see ranbir kapoor...each and every scene. i hope him and kashyap don't disappoint me.

Kjo seems to be the right kind of nasty softspoken dirty businessman that i love to hate in this kind of movie. They are the worst kind of baddies coz they seem so non-assuming @ first.
The cast is stellar & if the movie is any good, i see it having big success!

Trailer was nothing outstanding IMHO...but not as bad as Besharam. What is a turn off is the critics making excuses for a bad trailer because its Kashyap. Would they have extended the same courtesy to say KJo if he was directing?

The trailer didn't live upto the expectations but it's wrong to write off the movie before it's release...There have been many bad movies which had good trailers and many good movies which had bad trailers...

The setting is historical & the script was developped by a historian from Princeton. Idk if the characters are real, but the book it was based on was all about Bombay of that time & its transformation. Light-Year posted a thread on this topic: http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4335941
