Chapter: 24

Raman was looking at Ishita sleeping peacefully in his lap. He didn't have the heart to move her from him although his heart was waging a war at him that he still has not talked to her about that particular night. Raman closed his eyes thinking how to broach the subject with her when she is well as he did not want the nightmares to come back to her.

Aamir sees Rinki sitting sadly on the college bench. He goes near her and asks what the matter is. Rinki says that her bhabi is not feeling well he says why you are worrying for small things get something which your bhabi likes and gift it to her which will make her happy. Rinki says my bhabi doesn't go for materialistic things I don't know what to get her. Aamir says then go to temple do a puja for her and take the prasadam. Rinki feels happy hearing this from him and asks him to come as well. They go to the temple Rinki does the puja in her bhabi name and prays for her speedy recovery. Aamir is praying to god to show him someway whereby he can propose his love to Rinki. Rinki asks him to come with her to the house.

Shagun is really happy after ordering new clothes for her she is thinking with these new clothes Raman won't be able to resist me as I know his taste and ordered accordingly. She sits and reflects back on her life she thinks she has money as she took half of Ashoks assets since he tried to cheat on her what she is lacking now is identity for herself to flaunt in high society. She thinks Raman is still in love with me that is why he doesn't have a physical relationship with that bhenjii. I will somehow make him mine before Mihir apartment gets repaired anyways everything in this house belongs to me because the bhenjii is doing only nanny work for Raman. She again thinks about the look Raman was giving Ishita in the morning then she dismisses it as being irrelevant to her. She thinks my looks always affected you and with that only I am going to get you back. In this process she has forgotten her previous plan of bringing Adi under her control again.

Simmi comes out of guest room leaving behind Shagun holding her head with a massive headache. Toshjii asks her what happened Simmi tells her that in order to get Shagun out of her bhai room she had to bribe her with ordering new clothes which did the trick but gave me a headache looking at the screen for hours choosing clothes which I'm not even sure will look the same when seen in daylight. Toshjii gives medicine to Simmi to take for the headache. Simmi then tells her about the way she found them Toshjii is happy hearing that they plan to create more private moments for them because if left to them they will never move forward in their marriage instead they will be trying to solve everyone problems. Toshjii tells her it won't be easy and we have to include all the family members in this even my frenimy Madhavi.

When the kids came back from school they went to the parents' room first to see how Ishimaa was doing but what they found was Ishimaa sleeping on their papa lap and papa sleeping in a sitting position holding Ishimaa protectively. Ruhi wanted to rush in to see for herself that Ishimaa was better but Adi stopped her and said Ishimaa needs rest we will check on them later and takes Ruhi from there.

Toshjii comes to call the couple for dinner and her eyes water seeing them sleeping peacefully with contented smiles on their faces. Toshjii thinks they must be world's biggest duffer couples as everyone can see that they are in love only they both cannot see it. She prays to Mata Rani to show them the way to show each other what the other person in heart has for them and also for her bhau to finally find happiness in her life. She goes near Raman and wakes him up asking him to come for dinner.

Raman wakes up and slowly moves Ishita to bed without disturbing her and goes to the washroom to freshen up when he comes outside he sees that Ishita is up he tells to her that he will bring her something to eat from downstairs Ishita says to him that she is really bored in the room she likes to go and have dinner with the family. Raman is hesitant at first because he didn't want her to exhaust herself too much but he could not resist her pleading eyes so he agrees to it.

Ishita gets ready and starts to move downstairs Raman is walking by her side holding on to her when they come to the stairs Raman picks her up in his hands. Ishita is embarrassed with his action as all the family members are watching from the dining table and hooting them. Ishita asks him to let her down she can walk Raman says to her I agreed you can come and eat with everyone but not to walk on the stairs so don't use your brains just enjoy the ride. Ishra are affected by their nearness in this close proximity.

Raman gently places her on a chair Ishita face turns crimson as she get teasing smiles from each and every member of her family. Ruhi comes near her and says Ishima why hasn't your fever gone down? Have you been taking your medicines properly? Ishita says to her that her fever has gone down and your papa made sure I took all the medicine. Ruhi asks then why is your face still red? Ishita does not have a reply to this and looks at Raman who is enjoying his wife predicament and thinking how she is going to answer Ruhi. Ishita answers to her that it is the after effects of fever it may take some time to go down. Simmi tells may be it won't go as the reason for that is bhai. Ruhi looks at papa and asks why is Simmi bua saying that you are making my Ishima sick? Raman glares at Simmi and says to her it is nothing Simmi bua is teasing your Ishima just like you do Shravu. Ruhi accepts that kisses both Ishita and Raman and goes to have her dinner.

Rinki arrives with Aamir she says to them sorry for being late as we had to go to the temple. Everyone welcomes Aamir and asks him to have dinner with them. He says to Toshjii, aunty I made sure that I will be here at dinner time as I love your parathas. Toshjii smiles at him and asks him to sit. He goes near Ishita gives a hug and says get well soon. Rinki comes near her and gives her a hug and opens the prasadam and gives to her.

Ishita notices even though they all are talking to her nicely she could feel a distance in the family as none were meeting her eyes except for the kids, Rinki and Aamir. She thinks to talk to Raman especially about Romi as she feels he is more dejected with something in his life.

Neelu serves everyone dinner when Ishita saw that her plate also had paratha and was about to ask Neelu for something light to eat Raman calls Neelu and asks her to take the plate away and to bring some soup or porridge for Ishita. When Neelu tells him there is nothing of that kind he gets angry on her and says don't you know she is sick she cannot digest heavy food now? Ishita seeing Neelu state calms him down and says to Neelu bring some fruits for me. Raman is upset that she is not getting proper food and storms out of the door.

Shagun is thinking what happened to him why is he taking so much care of Ishita he never was that attentive with me for small things.

Ishita is worried what happened to him and asks Mihir to go outside to calm him down just then Raman enters with a steaming plate of idly with light Sambhar for her. Ishita asks where you got this food from. Raman says I got it from amma as it is a light food you will able to digest this easily.

Rinki tease her bhai how come so much love towards bhabi now. Raman says to her it is not love that I have but self-preservation if she does not eat properly she is not going to get well and I have to take care of her again because she cannot do it on her own. Tears pool in Ishita eyes as she thinks how much Raman loves me even though his way of showing affection is by being Ravan Kumar which side she likes to see in her husband.

Raman then turns to look at her and says to her why are you staring at me eat your food. When Ishita was half-way done she did not want to have more he calls Ruhi to his side to feed Ishima so both Ravan and Ruhi feed the whole plate to Ishima.
