this season is boring apart from others seasons
instead of introducing and doing experiment with unfamilar things
they were stuck in things like khanvi and ghevar had lot of expectations with this season to know about rare vegetables and more

dishies given were below . expectations
😕

those who watch MC from season 1 might remember
that dish they made like cristmass tree on first season
and big three layer ghevar cake which was out Standing and they were so many dishies which were hard and i really enjoyed to see them cook

this season has no such things and final is near but it looks likes they have low budget
😆

Are you referring to the croquembouche made in the grand finale of season 1 when you say christmas tree like dish?? Also, i think the ghevar cake was Chef Kunal's Tropical Fruit Ghevar Cake.
It was really interesting to watch.

I don't think it's particularly boring, but then I only saw the last season and this one. But, I do think it's disappointing that they haven't been more creative with the vegetables and types of dishes.

I wouldn't call it boring. But I would say that it didn't work as expected and they're very limited in the types of cuisines they're trying.

Ah who can forget that ghevar cake. I loved that whole idea and would love to try it out (not making but eating it). I really wish they had brought forward some of the chefs' signatures dishes and seen how well the contestants can make it.

I meant it is boring because their concept didn't work properly and they aren't crossing the khandvi/ghevar limit.

Do you remember the "Christmas Wonderland" by Chef Jahangir Mehta in Season 2, which was basically a whole mountain of different donuts? That looked pretty amazing and was hella difficult too.

The problem is the team hasn't set targets that are difficult.

Give them tougher targets, do something different and vegetarian will work!

I loved the using 500gms of ingredients to make a navratna thali from season 3.

Give them mystery boxes with different ingredients.
I remember an episode where they had to make an indian pizza in 30 mins without an oven.
There was also an episode where they were paired up and one partner cooked for the first half and the second then and they couldn't talk or exchange ideas.

If you don't bring about twists and stuff, no concept would work.

The vegetarian concept is really not the problem.

The problem is not being vegetarian...They have made this season too boring with loads of gropu tasks..And even in individual task they have not given them anything tough to work on...Why cant they try different type of cuisines???? I am fed up of them revolving around same dishes again and again...I can give you plenty of south indian dishes...And why cant they try quinoa, oats, millets etc and ask them to come up with a beautiful dish???? This season on below par.

Totally!

I miss the mystery boxes! Those are always some great game changers.

And if they want to do group tasks then fine, but bring a twist. They had a task once where the team had to actually go out and do the shopping themselves in the time they were allotted. Why not try and do something like that where you give them a set amount of money and they need to use that to get all their ingredients?

I have not watched previous seasons of MCI, but I have watched some seasons of MC America and MC Junior America as well. I just feel this season was too repetitive. They did not have interesting tasks in general for the contestants to compete with. We as an audience do not really know the true potential of these contestants because the challenges are not varied enough to explore that.

Also, they repeat the same dishes too much as well. As a vegetarian myself, I know there are so many other dishes, ingredients, and techniques you can use for vegetarian cooking. This season brought be in because I thought it would bring vegetarian cooking to world level, but there's still some areas of improvement needed. i would watch MCI again with this theme again only if they bring in more variety and excitement through dishes and challenges, not drama.
