The prologue was quite stunning, for it really left me stunned and speechless for a few minutes. One thing is definite that they were attracted to each other from their very first meeting and whatever they shared was quite dear and deep. Also, things are grossly muddled and she is not quite willing to sort them out, more like she doesn't want to, but he doesn't seem to be wanting to give up at all.

I am not sure what has led them to such a juncture because the possibilities seem to be many. 9 years into a marriage is a long time and I wonder if there are any kids involved out here (there's no mention as such though).

I love the easy comaradiere both share with Lavanya and it seems she has a crucial role to play.

The character sketch is quite engaging and the external beauty of both these complex characters has been defined quite well. The plot is fresh and mysteriously woven.

Waiting for the next part.

I'm already loving this. I followed "Stripped" and was literally obsessed with it, so for this one to already have me hooked, I know I'm in for a treat. Can't wait for more!

There's something so very real about this.

Very, very real.

There is also something undefinably sexy about an angry Arnav slamming down on his accelerator. Don't get me wrong- I feel so, so bad for him... but there is still that inherent sexiness.

This scene, with Arnav pouring from his bottle of Award winning Scotch and Frank Sinatra in the background. Sigh. This scene plays like a movie in my mind- it's just so vivid. You can almost feel Khushi relaxing under a hot shower- in my favorite outfit: sweats, fuzzy socks.

But the scene that my favorite of this update is them dancing. It's subtle, and his "dance with me" ... I can hear it, and then the silence filling the room after... Uff. This scene is set so damn well, Di. It's a sense of intimacy and nostalgia all at once, and it's really, truly beautiful.

Their sex scene- I love the moment when he kisses her forehead. And the very last line:

"But the cold draft lingered in the background, with separation beckoning as the sun rose"

That sense of foreboding... but with a warmth. I can't bring myself to let the foreboding overshadow this- I have faith in my Arnav. I pictured this update in my head, as if I was sitting right next to you 😆
