Hi guys I am Siya and I am quite new to this forum!!! For a record I am a Kabir and Nibir fan!!!
I have seen quite a lot of posts in the forum in past few days with the mention of "fake marriage"!!! I could not quite understand this terminology fake marriage in the context of NAUC!!!

Both Nisha and Kabir did not tie the nuptial knot to get away with immigration, gain citizenship or to hide their sexual identities which are the most common cases in fake marriages. None of the partners tried to cheat their counterpart by making false promises. So I do not feel this marriage is fake by any means!!!

There might be different fan groups but fact is a fact!!! This marriage was definitely an immature and hasty decision but it is legally valid under Hindu Marriage act and there is no point in calling it fake!!! Nisha and Kabir got the liberty to accept it or reject it, but calling it fake is a question on the very institution of marriage and the legal system that prevails!!! If one does not accept the relation then they have the option to annul it!!!

It's not a fake marriage
It's just accidental.
They did it to save someone's life
But now they are getting married again.

Hi!
I agree that it is legally valid. "Fake" wasn't really cooked up by fan groups... That's what Nisha and Kabir were referring to it as. You know, calling it a naatak and all...

As of now it is not a "real" relationship as it has not been accepted by them as such. The real/fake being referred to here is with respect to the relationship, not it's validity if you know what I am trying to say... Since they entered it unknowingly... It is not "real" for them. (Also, it can be annulled given the circumstances)

IF they get married again, they should accept it as they have time to think and people to support whatever decision they take.(albeit very few)
Again, they're talking of contracts and pretense... I think it is the whole "naatak" that has made this word catch on...

I believe most, if not all, the forum members hold the institution of marriage and the rituals associated sacred.

Zyaada lamba ho gaya na?😆 Sorry 😛.

Hey Zainu great to see you here too... Long time indeed!!! I rarely come to Veera forum these days as u know I am tired of defending our Ballu darling 😆

Yes Nibir and Kabir fan indeed!!! U know na I fall for those free spirited apne duniya mein mast type characters!!! I was tired of hearing Nakli shaadi, fake whatever!!! As much as I love Nibir I do not want them to remarry at this point as if to rectify what they have done!!! Marriage should either happen by the choice of you approving what your elders have chosen for you wholeheartedly or by you falling in love head over heels with this person!!!

I am sure with passage of time Nisha can't help but fall in love with Kabir!!!

I did not mean that this word was coined by fan groups I heard it in the show and also others using it in the forum!!! All I meant is by terming it fake would not make it any less a marriage!!! I am not a strong believer of the adage that "Marriages are made in heaven"!!! I feel marriage is a commitment taken by two individuals to stand by each other in thick and thin, if Nisha and Kabir are not ready to take that plunge with each other then they should state that as the reason for their separation!!! Calling a group marriage fake or accidental or drama is very ironic, be it by the cvs or the fan groups!!!

As much as I would love to see Nibir together I don't feel they have the maturity or mutual understanding to take their relationship to the next level * I mean the new shaadi 😕*!!! Love and other associated emotions are out of question in their case too!!!

kabir's charming sunny childlike personality and warm and caring nature is way too irresistible man❤️ NiBir already share a beautiful bond of friendship and an understanding of each other and kabir was even ready to take a bullet and put his life on the line for nisha,he is truly the sunshine in Nisha's life, it will not take too much or too long for nisha to fall head over heals in love with this guy!

It's a fake marriage in the sense that Nisha and Kabir, especially Kabir do not take their earlier marriage seriously or even consider it real. Kabir thinks of the marriage as a joke. He doesn't care that the rituals were completed. For him, marriage is about acceptance. He didn't want the marriage and didn't do it willingly so he thinks its not a real marriage.

Nisha, on the other hand, was initially shown to actually consider the marriage real because she grew up thinking that rituals make a marriage (just like Dolly). But after Kabir denied it, she also denied it (and thus kept her pride up in front of him). The family, for the most part, also thinks that it was a marriage because the rituals were completed, regardless of intent.

I think it's an interesting question the show poses: what really makes a marriage? Rituals or intent?
