hey everyone,

I find 2 things in MC very annoying and unprofessional

1. people in balcony giving comments/directions/help to those who are competing a task
Because it is distracting and I believe in someway destroy a purpose of competition

2. when contestant ask each other for ingredients and advice " like ashish said Nikita can u see if I m doing this right" ...

this is equal to if someone ask another person for answers on a final exam???

This is a competition after all get real ppl

Absolutely agree with TM.. people standing in balcony do nothing to make nervous the persons who are facing last chunauti... and asking for help is definitely like cheating in exams. I wonder how examiner here Chef Sanjeev, Chef Vikas or Chef Ranveer allow this??

This was my first season watching MC, and I was attracted by the vegetarian theme. It has just disappointed me. I think there's more focus on drama than cooking and technique.

I was reading an old article about MC Australia and one of it's judges, George Calombaris, said this about the contestants :

"Literally after the first week meeting these contestants we had to rip the paper up for what we had planned, and raise the ante like you would not believe," he says.

"These people are incredible. We deliberately said to ourselves we wanted to get back to the core value of what MasterChef is and that's great cooking. We're not a soap opera."

And then there's MCI who's definitely far from being a soap opera 😆
