Bolo Zain ...aur haa sach bolna ...mai ab bhi gabbar ke mood mai aa sakta hu, he smiled trying to relax him 

Zains expression became more serious as dense thoughts started populating his mind ...

Chachu ...woh nahi baat karti mujhse..he looked away for a few fleeting moments ...Aaliya koh is ghar par rakhne ki kimat hai...mujhse baat karna toh door meri shaqal bhi nahi dekhti ...poore teen mahine ho gaye ...he looked away...obscuring Rehmans vision ...

Who toh mujhe maloom hai beta ...maine dekha tha tumhe uss din unke janamdin ki subhah...

Zains face drenched with his words ...the darkness was not able to shield the truth

Bahut badi kimat nahi hai ...Rehman kept a hand on his shoulders, assuring a fatherly figure warmth that Zain needed at that time...

Nahi...Aaliya ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hu...he smiled

Beta ...ek baat batao ...Rehman wanted to set aside all the questions he ever wanted to ask Zain ..few mysteries that had remained in the tomb of their hatred...

the words shocked Zain..Rehman knew about that two nights that Suraiya had changed for the worst, banishing him forever ...how he had disappeared

He looked at Rehman now...memories that he didn't want to recall...veiled shame that he didn't want to expose ...

Mujhse galti hui ...maine unka chehra dekha...ankhon mai ankhein daalkar ..varna who Rhea koh chot pahucha sakti thi ...bas darr gaya tha ...isliye galti kar baitha ...

Da ke saath Pune mai bahut accha time guzara tha maine ...who bhi bahut khush thi uss din ...par shayad yeh baat unhe acchi nahi lagi..isliye ...he stopped

Bas ankhon mai dekha ...Rehman couldn't understand why Suraiya would hurt him for such a small thing ...he was scared for Rhea ...

Rehman smiled seeing his confidence ...

Zain finally spoke ...ab boliye mai kaise kahu unse ...ki mai Aaliya koh phirse iss ghar mai wapas lana chahta hu ...his words were wrapped in love for Suraiya, the forced chastity couldn't control his love ....aap please baat kijiye na

Zain ...who tumhari mom hai ...naraz hogi ...par tumhe hi kehna hoga ...

mai Rhea ka baap hu, aur tumhare kal ki baat jaante huae, mai sirf tumhe apni beti ka haat de sakta hu ...yeh tumhe ki karna hoga ...

Unhe Chitthi mai likha tha maine ...aur bhi bhaut sari batein likhi thi, avoiding Rehmans eyes now, the truth was hurting him  ...shayad isliye aaj kal aur bhi chidti hai mujhse...par mujhe yakeen hai jald hi apnayegi Aaliya koh ...koi vajah nahi rahegi

Zain, Koshish karke dekho ...Rehman assured him Ek kaam karo phone karlo ...

Chachu who nahi maanegi ...aur mujhe izaazat nahi unse baat karne ki ...aap please samajhiye

aur izaazat apne Mom se baat karne ke liye kissi bhi aulad koh nahi leni padti ..karo ...mujhe yakeen hai ..woh tumse zaroor baat karegi ..

He took the phone ...feeling uneasy ...call from Rehmans mobile, Suraiya won't cut ...and he was not actually breaking his promise...he would just rant and keep the phone down ...she doesn't need to reply him ..and the silence would still be maintained

The ring went ...She picked up ...he felt nice to just hear her Hello...her word only for him, the ears celebrating with a light smile on his face

He cleared his throat ...and mustered up the courage ...

Mai Rhea se shaadi kar raha hu ...agle hafte ...aur haa please phone mat katiy ga ...aapki permission ke liye kiya hai ...sab raazi hai ...agle hafte ...masjid mai...

Phone karne ke liye sorry ...aayegi toh accha lagega ...he spoke a bit faster, his only opportunity to redeem

The silence on the other hand ...was dead ...

He cut the phone ...Rehman smiled ...not seeing the tears in Zains eyes ...

Dekha ...ho gaya na...

He had learned to bury his tears long back ...Chachu ...mujhe nahi karna chaiye tha aise ...who bahut jyada naraaz hai mujhse ...aur ab toh ...

Zain ...mai hoo na ...chalo ...tayari bhi toh karni hai ...he assured him that all was well...

Zain closed his eyes ...he didn't even want to imagine what Suraiyas thinking was or her unspoken feelings ...it was a closed chapter ...he had to move on

The 11:00 pm visit to her room was more discreet today...

She was sleeping ...he peeked at her reflection in the mirror like he usually did ...the eyes opened and she turned her face towards the door ...facing him ...

He stood frozen ...the heat of her face ready to thaw him ...

His world ceased to exist when he saw her face ...the pain and hurt was unbearable ...he was torn ...not knowing if loving was a sin ...if abiding by your heart made his offence unforgivable ...

He walked away ...praying that they never face each other again, atleast he would not be so miserable.
