Chapter: 23
Once they finish the carom game Ishita says she is feeling very restless she needs to go out Raman is adamant that she is not going anywhere as he does not want her to strain finally they come up with a compromise he says you can walk inside the room for few minutes.
Ishita slowly gets up from the bed and starts stretching her legs she walks the length of the room but the second time around she stumbles a bit. Raman who was watching her like a hawk comes to her in a second and holds her keeping a hand on her waist and taking her in a protective embrace to prevent her from falling down.
Once she steady's herself using his support they realize at the same time that his hands are on her bare waist a tingling feeling is passing through both of them as this is the first time he is touching her in a sensitive spot. They share an eye lock Raman hands are reaching to touch her face this is how Shagun found them.
Shagun fumes seeing Raman face glowing with love for that bhenjii that is when she realizes the broken Raman she has left behind is healed the one she is seeing is Ishita Raman but she also knew that they don't have a physical relationship so far she plans to keep it that way so that she could get back to Raman to enjoy all the luxuries he could offer her now.
Shagun tries to call Ishita but Ishra are out there in their own world they do not hear her. Shagun is even more insulted now she goes near them and shakes Ishita. Ishita breaks the eye lock and is embarrassed that someone witnessed their private moment and is trying to break away from Raman. Raman holds Ishita possessively and tightly and asks what is she doing in their room? He says to her next time please knock on our door before entering except our kids no one has permission to come inside our room unannounced.
Shagun is fuming inside seeing Raman hands laying possessively on Ishita waist but outwardly she smiles and tells to him that she came to see whether Ishita needed help because she came to know she is suffering from fever and I thought you would be at work as work always comes first to you even when you were madly in love with me.
Raman sees Ishita eyes sparkle has gone down a little bit after hearing Shagun saying to her about his love for her. He says to her I know my priority at that time was work but now my priority has changed first to family so don't worry about Ishita I am here to take care of her. Hearing Raman words Ishita eyes sparkle again which makes him happy.
The Bhalla family was avoiding coming into Ishra room as they wanted to give some private moments to them seeing Shagun going towards their room Simmi comes to call her so that she doesn't disturb Ishra but sees his bhai holding her bhabi in a compromising position before she could stop her Shagun breaks them from the trance and she could hear her bhai scolding Shagun.
Simmi enters the room and says to her I have been searching for you. I need some help with the clothes I am going to order online as you are the experts please come with me. Shagun is happy thinking that with Simmi she will also order new clothes to make her look more beautiful so she leaves with her.
Raman removes his hand from her waist once they leave the room. They both are left bereft after he removes his hand without fulfilling their desires. He makes her lie down on the bed covers her with quilt and asks her to take rest. He comes to his side of the bed takes out his laptop and starts working on it. Ishita turns to Raman side seeing him work slowly drifts to sleep.
Raman looks at Ishita from time to time from his laptop he sees her sleeping then he puts the laptop down sits on the side of the bed closes his eyes and is in deep thought how is heart was racing when he was touching her waist how he wanted time to stop at that moment. He opens his eyes sensing some movement Ishita in sleep was trying to find the comfort before even he could adjust her to a comfortable position she moves towards his lap finds solace there and sleeps peacefully.
