Niti Taylor popular as Nandini Murthy from MTV's Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan tells us that acting wasn't always on the cards for her. In fact, even today, she shies away from romantic sequences. "I am very shy and get awkward while shooting intimate scenes. They make me laugh. Recently there was a romantic scene between two besties Nandini (me) and Navya, and I got really awkward during that as well," says the actress from Gurgaon.
Given that rumours are part and parcel of the entertainment industry, how does Niti tackle them? "I just ensure that I clear things with my parents and sister since they follow all my interviews."
The actress believes that the industry could do with a lot more youth-based shows such as the one she is part of. "I feel that there are a lot of family dramas on TV and the audience is exhausted with them. Youth shows connect well with the changing attitude of people these days and bring in fresh content," she adds.
