Next day Dadima, Rano and Mishti came to the hospital early in the morning as Dadima was feeling uneasy at home. She wanted to see Maan. Adi saw them and was perplexed seeing them so early, "Ww...what happened Dadima? Aap sab itni jaldi kyu aa gaye...aapki tabiyat to thik hai na". Dadima smiled weakly at him seeing his love and care for them. Mishti replied, "Dadima thik hai Adi bhaiya. Unka Maanji ko dekhne ka mann tha to hum sab jaldi aa gaye". Adi smiled at her, he knew how much Dadima loved Maan. Adi looked at Dadima, "Dd...dadima kal Nimisha mam bhi aayi thi par achanak Maan sir ke baare me sunte hi chali gai". Dadima was confused, she might had some work but at this point what would be more important than Maan. At some corner of her heart there was a fear, fear of Nimisha leaving Maan and what would be Maan's reaction. But she ignored her fear perhaps she might be thinking too much.
They all were sitting with Maan. Maan was in deep sleep. Suddenly a doctor appeared who was looking a little tensed. They were surprised to see him and asked him the matter. He told them that the doctor, senior doctor Avasthi is calling them. Dr. Avasthi was their family doctor and he was one of the doctors treating Maan. Dadima and Adi immediately went towards his cabin, they knew something urgent was there otherwise why would he call them like that, he would have come to them by himself.
Dadima and Adi saw Dr. Avasthi very upset. Adi asked, "Is there anything important doctor?". Doctor looked at them and asked them to sit down. Then he switched on the TV, the news flashed, "THE MOST FAMOUS BUSINESS TYCOON MAAN SINGH KHURANA GOT BLIND". He changed the channel and the other channel too flashing the same kind of news with Nimisha's interview. In the interview she had clearly told the media that she was not marrying Maan, how could she marry a blind man. And media had spiced up the news more. They even raised their fingers at the Khurana empire, "KHURANA EMPIRE UNDER THE REIGN OF BLIND KING". Dadima and Adi were stilled, how could she stoop this low. Dadima loved and cared for her as her grand-daughter and today when their life is at a very sensitive point she was making fun of them. Adi and Dadima concluded that only she had leaked the news of Maan's blindness. The doctor neared them, "Subah se yehi sab news aayi hui hai. Maine bhi jab ye sab dekha to mai bhi shock ho gaya tha. Aapne hume mana kiya tha ye news bahar jaane se, lekin ab ye news bahar aa gayi hai so I thought to inform you". Adi thanked the doctor and looked at Dadima, "Dadima mujhe lagta hai kal Nimisha isi liye Maan sir se bina mile chali gayi thi". Dadima was angry and at the same time pained, "Nimisha ko humne itna pyaar diya, unhe sab kuch diya, or unhone hamare Maan ke saath aisa kiya", tears rolled down her eyes, "Adi Maan ko jab ye sab pata chalega to kya hoga, already he is going through a lot...ab hum unhe or pareshaan nahi dekh sakte". Adi replied, "Dadima hum abhi Maan sir ko kuch nahi bata sakte, hume unke thik hone ka intezar karna padega", Adi told the doctor, "Doctor please yeh sab kuch Maan sir ke saamne nahi aana chahiye. Please make sure that no one discusses this thing in front of him". The doctor replied positively.
Rano looked at Adi and Dadima, she knew from their faces that something was there. She brought them outside and asked them, Mishti was too looking at them and listening to them from a distance. Dadima told everything whatever happened. Rano as well as Mishti were shocked. Rano said in disbelief, "Nimisha aise kaise kar sakti hai, uski or Maan ki to shaadi hone wali thi...Iska matlab to yehi hai ki usne hamare Maan se kabhi pyaar kiya hi nahi". Dadima said, "Aap sahi keh rahi hai Rano, shayad unhone hamare Maan se kabhi pyaar kiya hi nahi". Rano was very angry, "Agar usse Maan se shaadi nahi karni thi to pehle hi bata deti, hum uske saath koi jabardasti nahi ker rahe the". Adi intervened, "Rano ma ab hume Maan sir ke baare me sochna chahiye". Rano and Dadima agreed with Adi and trio moved towards the room. Mishti already rushed inside when she saw them coming.
After some time, Mishti came out as she was feeling very guilty. Rano too came to see her, "Mishti beta kya hua?". She replied with her moist eyes, "Ye sab meri wajah se hua hai. Sab sahi kehte hai ki mai manhoos hu. Meri manhoosi ne Dadima ke parivaar ko bhi nahi chooda...aaj Maanji ke saath jo bhi ho raha hai wo sab meri wajah se hai, na hi mai yaha aati or na hi ye sab hota...", her voice chocked, it was going unbearable for her and she started crying. Rano felt her pain and stroked her head. Mishti hugged her, she felt a burden on her heart. Now she was regretting staying with them. They have given her shelter, love, care, warmth, everything for which she was craving till now, and now when she got that, everything got cursed due to her. Rano understood her situation and realized from her sudden outlet that she knew about Nimisha's actions, "Mishti beta aisa kuch nahi hai...tum manhoos nahi ho, balki tumhaare aane ki wajah se to us Nimisha ka saaya hamare Maan se hatt gaya. Jo hamare Maan ko aisi haalat me chhod de or uski haalat ka duniya ke saamne mazaak banaye, aisi ladki ki agar Maan ke saath shaadi ho jaati to unki jindagi kisi manhoosiyat se kam nahi hoti. Aapne to hamare Maan ki zindagi bachayi hai manhoos hone se". Mishti looked at her, she was appalled by the love and care they were showing towards her. Rano wiped her tears and kissed her forehead, "Aaj ke baad kabhi khud ko manhoos mat kahiyega". Mishti nodded her head in yes.
Mishti, Dadima, Rano and Adi were effected a lot by the things that were going on, but with each wound they were trying to make themselves stronger as for them Maan was more important than these things. Next day, Mishti informed Adi that they would be late in reaching hospital as Dadima and Rano wanted to visit temple. Adi was with Maan. Maan was sleeping so Adi went to freshen up. But, unfortunately, Maan woke up after some time, earlier than usual. He called Adi, but when no response came he understood that Adi was not there, he might have gone to freshen up. Maan heard some noises, there were two nurses that were talking about Maan outside his room. Nurse1 said, "Kabhi isne socha bhi tha ki iske saath ye sab hoga...Itna ameer hone ke baad bhi ye kitna bebas pada hai". Maan thought that they might be talking about some patient, he didn't have the slightest hint that it could be him. Nurse2 said, "Ha tum bilkul sahi bol rahi ho. Iski to shaadi hone wali thi na wo ek model se", nurse1 replied, "Ha wo super model Nimisha", Maan was shocked as well as angry, how could they gossip about him. Nurse1 continued, "Par usne to ab isse chhod diya, usse pata chal gaya na ki ye ab dekh nahi sakta...tune dekha nahi kya uska interview, sab channels par kal yehi to dikha rahe the. Iski Dadi ka to bahut bura haal ho gaya tha ye sab dekh kar", nurse2 continued, "Ha bura haal to ho hi jayega na pota jawani me andha ho gaya or mangetar ne bhi chhod diya...ab kon karega isse shaadi...". Their gossip was intervened by a huge roar of none other than Maan Singh Khurana.
