I've just come across this story and read all chapters in a row. In some stories where the husband of a main female character dies, writers generally wouldn't want to give details about the love between the main female and her deceased husband. But in this story, I loved your decision of giving details of NK and Khushi's love story. The way you portrayed NK's love and affection towards Khushi is so beautiful that even now those memories are enough for Khushi to feel loved, even after 2 years of losing NK.

Coming to Arnav and Khushi... It doesn't matter what they shared in the past, why they broke up. The thing what matters now is that life is ready to give them a second chance. And It seems both will accept this chance with open arms.

Khushi deserves to be loved again and love back in return. Meera deserves to have a father beside her through thick and thin that life will offer her in the future. Even now she feels the pain of not having a father and when time passes, this pain will only increase. And In those times, she will need a father figure. And Arnav is the best option for this.

Ah, you. Your Arnav is so damn adorable. I think I've fallen in love with him, and he is most certainly way too old for me 😆 But what can I do, you've just made him so... cute! Sigh. I feel a little spring in my heart and I'm currently doing double integration- it is pretty damn hard to feel a skip in your heart with that. 😆

You know, I love Manorama. But I cannot focus on her this update- although, I absolutely adored the scene between her and Khushi. The pair of elderly ladies may just be my favorite in this story, you know? Forget Arnav and Khushi. Give me these two women.

But no. This one, I will dedicate to Sumitra. She seems to be trying to hard to understand this situation that for someone of her generation, is... odd, isn't it? But even though it doesn't fit her idea of an ideal husband-wife relationship, even if Mohan has ASD- she still wants to understand. I don't resent her for struggling with this idea. Not at all- because she wants to understand, and she only wants the best for her child. Her affection for Arnav and her desire for him to be happy above all... is heartening.

The conversation between Arnav and Khushi- whenever you weave them together, it's magic. I've told you this many times, but these two together... the reader can feel the connection between them. There's an easy friendship but that something lurking behind their conversations... is so palpable. I would say it's uneasy, but it's not- it's begging to be heard, insistently pushing at the surface. Kind of like Nessie! The Scottish not-so-legend, I mean :)

"That was probably the first time in my life I realized how silent silence could be": you and silence. Your silence is never just silence- it speaks louder than in any story I've ever read. Every single silence you write is different. Forever in awe of your pen- or rather, your keyboard.

I won't be pleased with lengthier waiting periods between updates, but sigh (to be read in a teenager-esque whine), I will wait for you. I guess :)

Love always,
G.

M, this was such a flawless, smooth flowing update that had me captivated from the first word to the last, mind with a myriad of emotions. You have mad writing skills (trying to be cool like Manorama by using "mad" as my kids would say 😆) but seriously it was brilliant my favorite author. 👏

Naani, the matriarch of the family observing the happiness that has taken over her grandson, and like any loving grandmother she wants him to have that forever. And we all want that for him. It's not easy raising an autistic child and finding out is a life shattering moment. This one is close to me, *sigh*, but I commend Arnav for his take on Mohan today, and this is what is going to ensure Mohan will have nothing but the best.

I do hope like Nani, that Arnav finds his happiness who loves him and Mohan. I am already dreaming about Mohan and Meera being the best of friends, and its that social interaction that will help him in life.

The conversation between Manorama and Khushi was beautiful and at the same time quite amusing. I have often been in awe of the name Arnav SIngh Raizada 😆 Agree it sounds so regal, and look at us we can't let go of the power of that name.

And Khushi, I swear, I feel goosebumps when she thinks about her feelings for Arnav. It's that nervous feeling when you like someone but don't know. But I hope she comes to the realization what that feeling is and follows her instinct. She already has a open minded mother in law that will support her.

Go for it Khushi, he wants his second chance and you certainly deserve your second chance to happiness.

Amazing, simply amazing yaara! 👏

That was such a Soulful write up. Beautiful, how you have shown the emotions of each of the individuals involved. With all the problems thrown at them and how each is looking at the other that the solution is in the person in front of them.
Simply Love Nani & Manorama. Both understanding and both wanting the best out of what they can take from the given situation today.

Nani's worries, her hope that both Arnav & Mohan will be alright on their own and will find happiness.
That What ever Happiness Arnav is in will last for his life time is Nani's prayer.

Manorama, hoping that Arnav will be Khushi's strength from hereon. Though she wants to voice it out, she knows Khushi has to make her move to accept that NK is her past and Arnav hopefully her future for both her & Meera's Happiness. Love the support and understanding Manorama offers both silently and verbally to Khushi.

Looking forward to the Bonding of Meera & Mohan and Khushi & Mohan. That is what Arnav was visualizing when he came to know of Khushi's Profession is crystal clear. That Khushi will bring the best in Mohan.

Khushi's fear to move ahead and Arnav's adamant approach saying he will not make the mistake the second time around. Their sweet texts hoping to forget what done in the past but holding on what a Second chance has offered to them.

A truly touching update with both the elders conversation.
