So this is what I can deduce from all their interviews
What i thought about their love story is:
Like divyanka said once during that phera bytes , that Karan is single n girls come n meet him all.. so everyone in the set got to know he broke up with Kamya and parents searching girl .
Abhayji may be discussed this with Aly and they planned to make Karan meet Ankita once.. ( OK OK may be they planned for Lohri party)
May be they started interacting and chatting
And later karan too approached Abhay ji and his parents and things turned out smoothly and after holi day parents formally met once and offically finalised the RISHTA
