Chapter: 18
Ishita opens her eyes to see Raman watching her intently she shyly smiles at him says good morning and gets up from bed. Raman in a hushed voice talks to himself one day I have to teach you how to say good morning to your pati properly. Ishita asks did you say something he says no just said good morning Ishita leaves to go to Ruhi room to get ready. He asks why you are not using our bathroom she replies all her stuff are in Ruhi room. He gets ready as it a Saturday he comes dressed in casuals and goes to the living room to get his chai. Ishita brings his chai he brushes her hand deliberately with his famous wink she blushes and smiles. They are enjoying their new found sensation of affecting each other with their touches, smiles, blushes and winks.
One by one everybody comes to the breakfast table. Romi notices Ishita glowing face and Raman checking on Ishita. He starts teasing his bhabi saying what is the glow that surrounds you? Did you finally get to meet your soul mate on your birthday please tell us who is it? Raman hearing this is jealous of the figment lover and throws murderous look on Romi. Mihir and Simmi also surround her to tease her. Ishita helplessly looks at Raman he with murderous looks orders everyone back to their places to have their breakfast quietly and leave her alone. Shagun is in thinking why he is behaving like this and taking care of the bhenjii. Everyone fearing Raman anger even though they still want to tease their favorite bhabi come back to their seats for breakfast.
Once the breakfast is done the kids go to watch their cartoons. Raman tells Romi and Mihir to help Ishtia to move her stuff into their room. Shagun says how you can ask her to move into your room don't you have any respect for feelings of others she is just a nanny here. Raman with a thunderous and angry voice to Shagun says I am telling my brothers to move my wife's stuff into our room so what is the problem with you. Shagun expression is priceless to look at it is like a fish taken out of water and is struggling for its life and she just choked on her coffee when Raman said Ishita as my wife. Everyone realized at that point Raman has gotten his memory back.
Toshjii is the first one to react shouting "oye my puttar teak hogai" (My son has got well). Everyone hugs him then Ishita and Raman leave to Iyers house to share this news. They Iyers bless him both vandu and bala hug him. Shravu calls him he bends down to Shravu level he kisses Raman on the cheeks and says welcome back my friend everyone laughs at his antics.
Ishita asks them to come for lunch to her house. Everyone are happy in this turn of events the ladies get together to make lunch men help them with their chores afterwards all of them sit together chatting happily about politics ,fashion and cricket meanwhile Ishita and Raman are stealing glances at each other when no one is looking. The only unhappy person in this house is Shagun who is making new plans to stay in this house as Raman has got his memory and Mihir is back so she needs to go from their house.
Shagun says she needs to go out for a bit nobody is bothered about her. She goes to Mihir place unnoticed by anyone in Mihir apartment building she starts a fire at his place. She comes down and calls the fire department anonymously they come and put out the fire. They call Mihir regarding this and tell him he cannot go to his apartment for at least a month until they have verified the source of fire and to make sure all that the apartment is safe to live in. Mr Bhalla says to Mihir he can stay in the house which makes Shagun happy because with Mihir she also gets to stay with them.
Ruhi comes to her papa and says in a quiet voice that she would like to go out with Ishimaa, papa and Adi bhai only. Raman agrees to it saying he will make it happen. Ruhi runs from him Isitha come and asks him what the secret is? He says it is between papa and beti.
Ruhi is dressed in a pretty pink dress Raman is dressed in a formal black pants and shirt when he comes down Ishita is looking at him without blinking as he is very hot. He comes near her and snaps his fingers and asks her to get dressed as they are going out Ishita forgets about household work and goes to change her dress to spend time with her Ravan Kumar. He also asks Adi to change. When she is near the stairs she comes out of the trance and says she has lot of work do. The girls (Simmi,Mihika and Rinki ) say they will take care of it go and enjoy Ishita leaves to get ready. Adi happily goes to his room to get changed Shagun starts complaining that no one is there to care for her. She tells him look Raman only called you and not me.
Adi is in a dilemma when he comes down getting dressed he wants to go out with his papa but also feels bad for his mama. He comes near Raman and asks can we take mama also with us. Shagun is standing near the stairs smirking that Raman cannot refuse Adi and she will also tag along with them.
Raman realizes that Shagun has again started her antics with Adi. He makes Adi sit on the couch saying to him I know Adi you love your mama very much but your mama and I can't be together as we are divorced. I have married Ishita so Ishita, Ruhi, you are my immediate family. He names everyone as the extended family. He explains to him that his mama is not part of this family anymore. I like to go out with my family. You can come with us if only you like it or stay with your mama I don't have any problem with it. We will be happy if you come along so saying he leaves Adi to decide for himself.
Shagun is shocked by Raman response she moves towards Adi and says to him in a quiet voice see even for you he did not want to include me. He doesn't love you as much as he loves Ishita. Adi is more confused by her words.
Ishita after getting ready comes down Ishita is dressed in a nice black Punjabi suit to match Raman which was given by Simmi for her birthday which compliments her complexion and wears minimum accessories that is a heart pendant Raman gave, a single bangle, watch and dangling earrings she looks beautiful .Raman is ogling her when she is coming down the stairs. Mihir whistles seeing her Ishita blushes hearing her the whistle and Raman is holding Romi ears and asking is this the way to behave to bhabi. Romi saves himself from Raman and says to him that it wasn't him but it was Mihir who whistled Mihir gives a sheepish grin and says he cannot help it as his bhabi is looking like a beautiful Punjabi woman. Romi gives a thumps up to his bhabi saying you look delicious Raman again glares at Romi for talking about his bhabi like this Ishita laughs at Romi and Mihir and moves towards the sofa to see whether Adi is sitting.
Adi says you go have fun as I have homework I want be able to come Ishita says tomorrow is Sunday you can do it tomorrow Adi says no he has to finish his homework. Raman understands that Adi does not want to come without his mother so he comes near Ishita gives Adi a smile and says to her lets go we have to leave him to finish his homework. Ishita says to him how can you say like this we cannot go and have fun without our kids we will wait until Adi finishes or we will go tomorrow with him.
Adi realizes that his mother does want him to go without her and here Ishita aunty does not want to go without him. He comes to the conclusion with Shagun he is the adult and with Ishita he is the child. He wants to feel like a child once so looks at his dad and says if you help me with my homework tomorrow I will come now. Raman realizes that Adi doesn't want to reveal the true nature of his decision to Ishita so agrees to help him. Shagun is shocked by Adi behavior she thought whatever happens he will always be a tool for her to get to Raman. Shagun thinks I left him alone so he has started thinking on his own when he comes back I have to bring him under my control.
They all leave for their family outing.
