I know that in some cultures cousins marrying is still acceptable and normal. But i was talking from a scientific point of view where children get equal genes from both parents and fathers don't have an exclusive right on that. Mothers also give their share of the genes to their kids and when such half/quarter siblings get together it can be disastrous for their kids. Scientifically its considered incest.
Beyond that, i come from a culture where cousins from fathers or mothers side are just as good as blood siblings and so its sin to me. A very sincere apology if i hurt anyone's feelings with my reaction. I did not mean to.
