PART 2

The day went pretty well for geet .. she was kind of relaxed but one thing that was bothering her was the absence of her son.. well it was not that she wanted to marry someone who will have children and specially not the son who was old enough, somewhere she was scared if parth would accept her, when akash ( her brother) had asked her about the alliance she was confused and there was an apprehension in her , till now she was living alone well living with her brother will not be like living in the mansion.. Here she was a wife and her husband would want some rights on her.. and the biggest responsibility was of a mother , being unmarried she was aware of the needs the children would have but if she would take a step forward then she would need one step from her children her..

HER CHILDREN , suddenly a smile appear on her lips , things were really different and too apt.. she was a mother now and there was a sense of protectiveness in her for her children even if it will take time and she was sure that they won't be stone hearted after all love can even melt a stone then they were the just kids..

It was night , at the dining she noticed everyone was there except parth , that irked her and her questioning eyes were read by her MIL..

Naina : parth will come after a week he is been for a trip.. geet was kind of relaxed and saw the too silent pari , she was actually not eating anything.. Too quiet and lost in her own world.. One thing geet noticed was that pari's interaction with her father was minimal.. And she like to keep it like that only.. pari was the one to get up from the dining .. She quietly walked away it was like she would not even wanted to say anything..she would have expected at least would interact but this was all really depressing..

Geet continued eating , but even she couldn't have much ..new place and all of a sudden new responsibilities on her shoulder somewhere scared her though she was not new to her but till now that was her siblings and she was doing for them but here they were strangers whom she don't know she never met and out of the blue she was made a wife and mother and she will have to start from the initial .. life is a challenge and this challenge geet has to succeed for her peaceful life..

Being a second mother , it was really difficult for kids to accept geet this was crystal clear in her mind and

acceptance would be only possible if maan would help her..

Maan was working in his room.. till now he never had any interference infact when divya(maan's first wife) was there at that time too he never let her distract her from her work.. maan was working comfortably on his bed.. he rarely used study since after divya's demise he was alone.. Sometimes parth and pari would be here but as they grew older he was alone..

Geet came in and looked at her husband.. She chose to be quite and not disturb him.. he was handling a vast business empire and their alliance was a perfect mismatch .. geet had never thought that the owner of multinational companies would be her husband.. geet's luggage was all packed and she needed space ..

Geet : I need to settle my things.. She asked politely .. there was a softness in her voice and that cannot be ignored and even MAAN KHURANA couldn't do it.. he knew that he had married her and being married there comes responsibilities that will be some how difficult for him to fulfill.. but he was a man of words and would do each and everything to make her comfortable and adjust here..

Maan : I will ask nakul ( the servant ) to vacate the cupboard for you.. till then can you manage .. he asked her reciprocating the calmness that he sensed in her words .. she was matured and responsible and he had already told her about his son ..

Maan : geet can we please talk I need to have a word with you..

Maan closed his laptop and asked geet to change and then they can talk.. geet did as he asked and both were settled on the bed..

Maan : I know that neither you nor me wanted to get married and I can easily understand how it feels , this is odd and for you it must be very difficult .. I was married but you , it must all new and definitely difficult for you.. and please try to be comfortable here.. now KM belongs to you as well..

Geet was relaxed , though she met once but that was more of a forced type where both were actually asked to meet each other..

Geet : I am fine here.. please don't feel anything but it will take some time , I need to change according to the circumstances and this will take some time.. at this age it is difficult to change yourself but I will try my best.. one thing I need to ask you..

Maan was first relaxed but her words really made him guilty for maan it was his mother's wrong decision has brought them here and he was actually perplexed listening to her..

Maan immediately responded and his words were actually out of the situation that could be misunderstood..

Maan : geet first of all you don't need to change , this marriage will not bring any complications in your life ..no compulsions for you.. I am here to take care of my kids and you don't have to bother regarding me and my kids.. they are my responsibility and you don't have to put anything at stake..

Maan's words broke the small hope that was building up in geet.. he didn't care was the first thing that stricked her mind and asked him without being impulsive or sad.

Geet : I need to resume my job..

The words that she thought to ask him if he was comfortable with her working came like the way that she was demanding and her demand was accepted at that moment only..

Maan : you can do whatever you want.. there will be no compulsions from my side..

This was the start of a complicated relationship but the hurdles they will going to face will be tackled only by them if they will compromise with the situations coz ego is the bigger destroyer of relationships..

It was a week later everything was going smooth geet has resumed her work and this was kind of easy for her since it wasn't too far from KM.. maan had already appointed a driver for her but geet denied since she was independent and would go on her own.. she was a workaholic and this was the one thing that made her similar to maan.. she noticed maan's busy schedule and the need for him to get married .. but there was nothing they could talk. Practically they were strangers living under same roof..
