Barbaric scenes reminds me of the recent controversy that is going on.
Indian govt banned a documentary which contains interviews with one of the men who is sentenced for raping and killing a girl.
On one hand we want to close our eyes and ears to the reality. We want to pretend that all is well with our minds and the society and on the other hand the fiction shows go over board while depicting the crimes against the weak, women and children.
The current toppers in fiction genre - One show is all about exploiting the weaker sections of the society by making them bonded labourers they are buying generations of cheap labour by exploiting the poor the same show deals about exploitation of children and shows the protagonist fighting circumstances
Balika Vadhu started off with a girl questioning the traditions and fighting the society now in an attempt to go back to their theme they are going overboard to show the fight of a child - surprisingly it still seems to make money for the makers and the channel
As for the child actors getting affected by these scenes - I think it should be left to the parents of those children ultimately it is their responsibility and of course to an extent the responsibility of the makers too.
-----------
We are a nation of peculiar people and an even more peculiar government close eyes and minds to reality that surrounds us and depict reality in a fiction show so that we can make money through it.

Nandini's story doesn't make sense. It looks so forced. Only when we remember that she is the little princess of Anandi and Shiv then we feel sad for her.

Had they been more subtle we wouldn't have been so indifferent to the violence she is subjected to.
At the end of the day she is Anandi Shiv's daughter and they made a big blunder by totally disconnecting Anandi's story from Nandini's story and that's one reason we feel it is forced.
Sooner they connect the two stories the better it will be for them.

Felt very bad watching Shiv's daughter in this state. 😭

For a moment I wished him to return back and thrash those brutes till they were black & blue.

Now for eating laddoos, she will get some more punishment and beating if found out.

I remember some scenes when dadisa compelled a crying anandi to eat food from the dirty plate and how she locked her in a dark room and how she created a big scene about anandi stealing money to run away. And how she burnt her books.

What Dadisa did was out of her orthodox beliefs and traditions.
In case of Nandini it is beliefs plus revenge. Akhera and his wife must be getting a cruel satisfaction by torturing Anandi's daughter. I don't understand how they not even once fear that they might be caught by police.

CVs are trying hard to establish their new gen story by either torturing or creating sympathy for both the AnSh kids

Those scenes were so effective and outraged us for the right reason - because the story was strong the makers wanted to convey how tradition and culture suppress women and girls.
Now the violence against Nandini the way it is being shown invites outrage for a different reason because the story is not strong and the violence is being inflicted on Nanidin just for the heck of it because the writers want Nandini to grab attention🤢🥱
