Based on the storyline currently, are we to believe that Raman is no different than Subbu?

Does he believe that Romi can't have a life, a loving relationship/marriage without children? And does this mean that what we all felt...that if Raman didn't have kids of his own, he would have still loved and married Ishita...is wrong? If so, are we still expected to root for this couple??

What do you guys think?

It is very harsh to compare Raman with Subbu.

"Does he believe that Romi can't have a life, a loving relationship/marriage without children?" NO.He doesn't. He is worried for his family. There is so much pressure on him-- professional stress, Adi's custody, Rinki-Mihir's sudden unexpected marriage, Simmi's broken marriage, Anannya's future and now Romi's problem. He believes Romi will automatically reform as he's got no option now.

Would Raman have accepted Ishita with her infertility and all that-- Raman is a practical man and at the same time very emotional. If he were not in love with Ishita and it would have been an arranged marriage proposal, he might not accept the alliance. If he were in love with Ishita, he wouldn't have thought twice to marry her. Guaranteed.
