I think Vardhan's death also cements Sanyukta's need to finish engineering . To prove that he was right in trusting her .

Arey it was a given. She was a part of the dream team initially and despite everything she is bound to everyone at FITE. She considers Sanyukta a friend, something she rarely calls anyone. I think they kind of realised that everyone was getting tired of this hide and seek with Rana and the drug fiasco. This was their way of bringing that to an end and I think Krip Suri's exit date fell around the same time too so it was two birds with one stone.

I'm pretty sure next week se it will be back to slow and easy and filler scenes in between high points and mundane drama.

About their pasts, currently, given everything? No chance.
