Wow.. this is interesting. Poor Ishita.. I hope things don't worsen for her.. But its nice to have Param as the bad guy.. I kind of miss him on the show😃

CHAPTER THIRTY ONE

Simmi was a very jealous lover, she was one of those people who would go at her boyfriend for just talking to another girl and the way Parmeet was talking to Ishita, and it didn't quite sit well with her.

Raman who should have been the most jealous in the entire room didn't seem to even care which not only surprised him but also Parmeet because he realized that this was going to be harder than anticipated.

Raman smilingly looked at Ishita and slightly smiled shrugging his shoulders almost as if to tell Ishita crazy encounter. She just smiled back and thanked the stars that the Raman she met 2 years earlier was very different from the one who was standing in front of her.

'Okay now that that crazy and slightly awkward business is up, can we eat because I for one am starving...'' Said Romi as everyone made their way to the dining table

'Yeah me too...'' Said Ruhi whom had honestly been forgotten that she was even in the room

Aditya smilingly took her hand and together they went to the dining room as everyone followed them.

Parmeet who was still standing behind was smilingly looking at Ishita as she collected the glasses everyone was using and laying them on the tray. She turned around to take his glass and he was looking at her. She just smiled back thinking he was making his way to the next room as everyone said

Raman who was walking into the next room looked around and couldn't see his wife and when he turned, he could see Parmeet was talking to Ishita. He turned to see what was really going on and he could see that there was really more to this story than what meets the eye.

He saw Parmeet talking to Ishita and it didn't sit well with him. Not because he was jealous, not because he was insecure but it was one of those feelings you get when you know that something isn't right. That gut feeling that normally people tend to ignore for some reason or the other. He had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that this was not a good man.

Parmeet could see through the corner of his eye that Raman was looking at them and even though he couldn't quite read his face, Parmeet could tell he was getting a reaction out of Raman and that was all he wanted. Everyone in this house was exactly where he wanted them to be.

The parents were in awe of him, the brothers were a bit suspicious, the sisters were meant to be jealous, the lovers were meant to be doubtful and the Iyers were meant to be fearful and it was working.

Ishita turned around and she could see he was still standing there looking at her.

'Is everything okay? Can I help you with something?'' said Ishita

Parmeet looked at her for a while and finally said

'I still can't believe you do not remember me.'' Said Parmeet

'And I can't believe you still insist we have met.'' She answered

'Are you really sure we haven't?'' He insisted

'Maybe we have I don't know.'' She answered just so he would just leave her alone

'Okay maybe it is just a case of mistaken identity.'' He said

Parmeet knew full well that him and Ishita had never met until that day and that conversation he was having with her wasn't entirely for her but for the two people who were listening to them. Raman who was standing by the door and Simmi who was standing just behind Raman

Parmeet smiled at her as he walked to where she was standing and bent down to help her pick the glasses that were laying on the table and tried to put them to the tray.

'Parmeet is it?'' said Raman who by now had made his way to where they were standing

'Yeah...'' he said still bending to where Ishita was standing

'The dining room is that way...'' Said Raman to which Parmeet apologetically put his hands up and walked to the next room where his very very jealous fianc was waiting for him

'What was that all about?'' Asked an amused Ishita at Raman's possessiveness

'Well I didn't like our so called visitor's familiarity.'' Said Raman as he came forward and took the tray from her hands

'What are you doing?'' she said

'Well I think someone else should be taking care of you.'' Said Raman

'Raman I can carry a tr...'' Ishita tried to say

'Shhhsss don't bother I am not giving it back. Just go to the next room'' said Raman

Ishita understood that trying to change his mind was next to impossible so she just smiled at him and said

'You know I could really get used to this.''

'That is the whole point. Isn't it.'' He said winking at her

She smiled back and looked around to make sure no one else was watching and quickly placed a wet kiss on his cheek before she quickly walked away and joined everyone else.

Raman chuckled at how shy she could get sometimes before he finally walked into the kitchen with the tray in his hand.

When he finally made his way into the dining room he didn't like what he saw. Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla were sitting at extreme ends of the table as usual. Jai, Abhimanyu, Ishita and Aditya were seated on one side in that order and on the other Simmi, Parmeet, an empty seat which Raman was supposedly to take and Ruhi who was seated at the end.

The sitting arrangement didn't bother him, but the way Parmeet was still staring at his wife didn't sit well with him. He was seated across from Ishita smiling and clearly enjoying a view that was never meant to be his.

Raman pulled out his chair and took his seat after which he bent down to Ruhi and whispered something in her ear. Ruhi smilingly looked at her dad and turned to Ishita who was busy chatting with Abhimanyu and Said

'Ishima can I sit there, I want to sit next to Adi''

'Uhhh okay sure...'' Said Ishita as she got up and changed seats with Ruhi sitting next to Raman and out of Parmeet's sight

Once Ishita took her seat Raman turned to Parmeet and whispered to him saying

'Hey, the view you're supposed to enjoy is on the other side.''

'Oh sorry man I didn't mean to stare...'' answered Parmeet apologetically

'You better not...'' Said Raman with a stern look on his face before he turned to Ishita and smiled picking up his plate

'What was that all about?'' Asked Simmi to which Parmeet just nodded his head almost as if to say nothing

Everyone took their plates and started to enjoy their dinner, one that would be that last until a very very long time.

Given everything else it was an amazing dinner, they enjoyed each other's company and even with the slightly awkward tension that was brewing up in the room every time Parmeet said something to Ishita everyone kept their cool and remained civil about the whole situation.

Ishita was elated that she got to spend her evening with one of if not the most important people in her life. Everyone she loved more than her own life was in that room and she thanked her stars for it. After a long time even she was starting to believe that maybe finally God had granted her a second chance to all the things he had deprived her of most of her life.

She looked at her siblings and best friend as they said their goodbyes to her children and couldn't help but tear up a little bit. Jai turned and could see Ishita had tear in her eyes and even he could see she was happy, that after a long time he could genuinely say she was happy.

'Hey Ishu you are not allowed to stay quiet for so long and do take care of yourself.'' Said Jai

'Yeah you too'' Said Ishita as she came forward and embraced him

'Ishu honey take care and do come home once in a while, seriously. I am sure Raman can leave without you or a few days'' Teased Mihika to which Raman smilingly looked at Ishita and just nodded his head saying

'Mihika stop it...''

'Okay Ishu I am off to Mumbai. I have missed those kids. I need to go see them.'' Said Abhimanyu as he came forward to hug Ishita

'Give them a kiss from me as well.'' Said Ishita as she embraced him back

In his arms Abhimanyu held Ishita tight and whispered in her ears saying

'Let yourself love freely. Do not hold back.'' Then he placed a kiss on her head and let go leaving a teary eyed Ishita behind as he got into the car and left

Raman watched all this and wondered what he told her that got her all teary eyed

'Are you okay?'' he asked concerned

She let out a small laugh and smiled saying

'Yeah absolutely okay'' As she took his hand and they walked inside

Mihika was trying to talk to Parmeet while all his attention was on the three people who were busy saying their goodbyes. Mihika thought he was still looking at Ishita but in actual sense he was looking at her siblings because whoever had hired him had sent him a particular person and since he wasn't quite sure who that was, they all were to come in handy one way or the other.

He turned and he could see that she was looking at him and he tried to pretend he hadn't noticed the look in her eyes

'Well that was an amazing dinner'' he said

'Yeah I am glad you enjoyed it.'' She managed to say

'You seem down are you okay?'' Said Parmeet

'What up with you and Ishita'' she asked

'Nothing...'' he said pretending he was hiding something

'It didn't seem that way. What is going on.'' She said

''Nothing is going on. She really looks familiar, I swear we have met. I would never forget someone like her. I wonder why she pretends she doesn't know me. That's all'' Said Parmeet knowing full well what game he was playing

''Is she the girl at the beach whose name you have tattooed on your hand?'' Asked a very worried, a very insecure Simmi as Parmeet watched her with a smack on his face knowing the plan was in full blown motion

'Simmi please just forget this okay. It is not a big deal really.'' He said as he tried to get close to her

'It is a big deal if she is the one. You said you never loved anyone like the way you loved her and you got a tattoo of her name just so she could be closer to you.'' Said Simmi with tears in her eyes

'Simmi please stop it.'' He said

'NO I WANT TO KNOW.'' She insisted

'Your sister in law is Ishita and the tattoo on my hand says Aabha.'' Said Parmeet

'I am not an idiot. Tell me what the hell is going on. IS IT HER?'' Said an agitated Simmi

'I DO NOT KNOW. Look I had a great time and I am feeling very nice actually so please do not spoil my mood. Once you calm down and try and see reason, you know where to find me'' Said Parmeet before he got into his car and drove off

Simmi stood there divested not even exactly sure what to think about the whole situation. She loved him but if there was one thing she thought she knew about him was the fact that he was still in love with that girl he met back in Goa and she thought that if there was anyone who would ever be a threat when it came to there relationship, it would be that Aabha.

She never thought in a million years he would ever meet her again let alone that so in he own house. But it couldn't be possible. Ishita Iyer couldn't be Aabha Khan, could she?

Parmeet drove out of the Bhalla mansion knowing full well that their plan was now in motion. He parked a couple of blocks away from the Bhalla mansion and called his boss

'Hey I met her, in fact scratch that I met them.'' He Said

'So did you see her? Aabha did you see her?'' asked his boss

'I think I did. ' said Parmeet

'What about the rest? I need to find my sister.'' Said the boss

'Well I met a couple of her siblings from the orphanage and I think it is in Mumbai. I will text you the details.'' Said Parmeet

'Alright then good work, anything else'' asked boss

'Yeah you wouldn't believe who I met today. Abhimanyu Raghav. Looks like these two are still in touch.'' Said Parmeet

'The Abhimanyu Raghav..'' asked a very surprised man

'Yes in flesh and blood and I have a plan of how to lure Aabha without implicating any of us'' Said Parmeet feeling proud of himself

'Listen to me you idiot under no circumstances should you allow them to even know what is happening until neither of them can do anything about it okay.'' Said the boss in a stern voice

'But I thought that since...'' Parmeet tried to say

'I am paying you, do as I say. Besides if those two are allowed together, it will be very difficult to do anything. It is already hard as it is when it comes to one of them let alone two. Abhimanyu can however lure us to Mayra through Aabha. This is very sensitive and time conscious so please hurry up.'' Said the boss before he hung up

Meanwhile Abhimanyu, Jai and Mihika were driving back to Jai's place when Mihika in a very worried voice said

'Are we really going to pretend we didn't hear what Parmeet said.''

Jai and Abhimanyu looked at each other knowing full well what Mihika was saying

'I didn't want to say anything in her presence because I didn't want to worry her.'' Said Jai

'And besides she is way too wrapped up with Raman that I do not think she even remembers what he said.'' Added Abhimanyu

'Mani I know but shouldn't we be worried. I mean what if someone finds out that she is AABHA KHAN'' Said a very teary worried looking Mihika
