Anuraga- Passion of Love.

They have returned to their home after what seemed a moment for the godly times and a few days for the humans. But she enjoyed this journey whatsoever very thoroughly. She remembered some of the tests her Lord had taken of her at the climax of her penance, during her ascetic stages.

"Parvati what are you thinking?" her Lord's voice snapped her back to the reality. She looked around her, her very familiar hilly, rough Kailas Mountain which has now turned to a very warm, green and beautiful abode of hers. The austere Kailas is now hospitable for all kind of creatures. The safe refuge has transformed into a cozy home by the touch of the Mother Goddess's affection. And the loving and shy Gauri is serving food to her Lord, Love Shiva. A very regular routine to her also gives her time to realize the lessons she has learnt from her Lord the days earlier. She serves Mahadev another help of rice, pulses and vegetables. Then she answers the question, "I was thinking about Prince Arjuna."

"Why, Parvati? Yours answer makes me to worry about my position in your life", asks a mischievous Shiva with a huge ear to ear grin. "Was he that desirable to you?" his voice is laced with humour and zeal. But it has an opposite effect on her. She looks at him sharply for a moment and then casts her eyes downward. Then withdraws herself in her own and spends the rest of time in a grave silence while he has been eating. He senses her burning glare on him while he has been eating. His demure and obedient Gauri is hurt by his slight hint of another man in her life. "I should have known that by now, for Gauri only Shiva befits. She shall not listen none but me," he thinks and chuckles inwardly.

She is watching the pairs of gander-goose who call each other Uma-Shiva, their reflection at Lake Manasa. Only with a devotee with the purest soul could witness them at here. Tears roll down from her eyes. "How could you say like that, Mahadev?" she asks angrily to herself.

"You are being very impassionate Uma. I am joking with you to hear something back from you. You have been very serious since you arrive here. But you get upset because of me," says the best husband and lover amongst all, Shankara to his always happy bride Parvati. "Accept my apology, Uma. It was meant for humour only." He apologised and takes her in his embrace from his side, wipes off her tears from her lotus-like beautiful eyes. Her tall, petite figure fits into his tall, broad frame perfectly. She rests her head onto his shoulder while wraps her hands around him as well in contentment. "Don't joke with me like this, Mahadev. Don't ever compare yourself with others. I only desire you, want you and with my infinite merit, I finally have you in my life." She declares proudly to the world. With that returns her blithe spirit and radiant smile that lights the entire Kailas.

"I know that Parvati. But why you were so serious earlier?" asks Shiva after assuring his Uma.

"I am thinking about the great war that will approach soon. It will cause a horrible bloodbath." She says pondering over her thought. "It will destroy the entire society, My Lord. So many women would be widow and orphan," says a disturbed Gauri.

"You know it is the destiny, Uma. The society has become decadent, corrupted and incorrigible. They forget their dharma under the lifeless, regardless laws, rules what later served as tools to exploit and plunder," says Mahadev furious at the state of society.

"But how could Prince Arjuna be able to set the order again?" asks Sarvani, "How could he be able to destroy his own relatives? Is he ready to strike on his uncles, grandfathers, brothers, teachers? Is he ready to sacrifice his own sons, brothers as well?"

"I don't think he is." Says Shiva, "But I know he is under protection of my chosen god, Lord Vishnu's complete incarnation Lord Krishna. I have my faith in him and his ways. He will show Arjuna the right path when the right time arrives." Saying Shiva looks at Uma's eyes.

"Yes. I do believe in Brother Narayana too." She says and shyly downs her eyes. "I am ashamed to show my impassionate stature," she apologises.

"No. I am elated to see your passion of love. It reminds me about yours maidenhood." He says, "Thank you Sati for bring me out from the stone to this universe. Thank you to get me engaged with this world. Without you how could I be known as proud father of Shadanana and Gajanana." Saying he walks towards their home, Kailas with her in his embrace.

Each drop of desire,

Becomes the Elixir...

Walking by your side,

My heart swells in pride.

You are my everything',

I never wish anything else.

Let me be yours offerings,

And my passion of love...your feast.
