@Arshics yes it was a maa episode. Maya was fine to me. She is not emotionally involved in the work she is doing but goes about doing it as she thinks it is one way of doing penance to what she has done.
But unfortunately no, for any penance to have effect you need to be emotionally involved in the service, a detached seva does not bear the fruits you deserve. It is more like binded to result than to action.
But I liked Rudra's mom. Even with simple dress and tiredness I still found a subtle power in those eyes. It was not the authoritarian kind of power dadi has, but more of a gentle yet a woman who very well knows what she wants kind of. There is love in those eyes and unlike dadi's double edged smile, her smile was very warm and genuine.
Modern day Shravan kumar. Nothing new. Everyday see in newspaper sons and daughters leaving their parents in temple premises. It is the sad reality of these times.
