this part seems big bcoz its gang included, its going along d3 lines of couple reaction to anything, the other couple reaction to it and then gang reaction...pl do give me feedback
for those of u feeling bad about it, i want to say- i so agree but its so difficult to be light about our lovely couple, im trying though😊

Post weekend - VP sirs cabin- rey taani swayam aashi with VP sir
" so i think yeh Freshers party aur elections tumlogon ki last duty hogi as GS... "
"sir main resign karrahaan hoon " reys voice came in interrupting VP sir s instructions aggressively
as he fidgeted standing next to a stoic taani
Taani looked straight at VP sir, Swayam held Reys elbow trying to signal to him to control himself
while aashi looked at him surprised and VP sir turning attention from Taani to him said sharply ,
" Rey I heard you first time and I think I already said lets talk later.."
" talk karne ki koi reason nahin ..." rey
"REY THATS FOR ME TO DECIDE! " VP sir s angry voice shut him up ," AND I THINK ATLEAST IN
THIS FINAL SEMISTER TUM APNE TEMPER KO CONTROL KARNA SEEKH PAAOGE"
Moment of silence...swayam squeezed reys elbow muttering sorry sir while taani still looked at sir
with no expression on her face. VP sir turned to her again and continued," so taani i also need you
people to make sure theres no ragging ...blah blah blah" he went on , rey switched off his mind
looking completely disinterested...." okay? "
The remaining three nodded," so now go and ...get to finish your share of work" all of them turned
to the door when sir called," rey stay back " the others left- swayam and aashi worried while taani
had no expression on her face.

Corridor
Once they were out aashi said," yeh kuch zyaada nahin hogaya rey ka"
Swayam didnt reply but taani pretending that she didnt care what aashi was talking about said,
" freshers party ke liye planning main karloongi bhai..aap log d3 ke ek performance ke liye ready
hojao aur jo extra kaam hoga main divide karke bataadoongi ki kisko kya karna hain" and walked
away
Swayam stopped her ," ok but taani , how s the new place? Sab teek hain?"
Taani smiled," ji bhai, its comfortable. Aur neighbouring flat mein ek bohot achhi ladki hain.Waise
main aap keliye bhi lunch leke aayi hoon ...if you want" swayam smiled at her and nodded . She
smiled back and walked away.
"inka bhi kuch zyaada nahin hogaya? Sabkuch ignore karna?" aashi asked swayam
Swayam sighed and didnt answer

VP sirs Cabin

" its fine sir" " SIT" rey sat on the chair in front of sir.
VP sir stared at him while he looked at the table and then sir sighed
"i dont want to give you advises rey. You are one of the best students here, one of the nicest person
ive come across. aisa nahin hain ki you dont know kab kaise behave karna chahiye , but i dont
know ki tum aisa karthe kyun nahin ho "
rey ready for a arguement , looked at his understanding stare and felt guilty," sorry sir"
"you have to be , khudh ke liye! " Rey looked at him and guessed that VP sir knew ! Of course he
would have heard- rey had created enough scene in the canteen and during the NDC finals..He
squirmed in his seat embarrassed for the first time since the past few days.
VP continued," the point is that ...tum khudh ki responsibility se , mistakes se bhaagna kyun chahthe
ho? wo tumhaara basic nature nahin hain rey, dont get into the habit of running away from anything
...or anyone"
Rey looked up and met sir s eyes again understanding what sir was hinting at ," its okay if you dont
want to be AGS - its only few weeks more . Phir new batch aajaayega and taani can more than
handle stuff by herself without anyone...without you... But...you need to handle yourself better

Rey sat for a moment digesting what sir said and then got up nodding muttered a Thanks sir and

Rey walking towards canteen- VP Sirs last words running in his mind- dont neglect one relation
for another- he had forever done that with taani, neglected her for his friends...and now he was
neglecting his friends for his heartbreak. rey buck up saare gang ne tumhaara kitna saath diya hain
u cant ignore them for ...aur ignore bhi kisliye karoge rey? His face changed to a wry smile-
uskeliye jo tumhaare saath nahin rehna chahthi! ...he remembered taanis words hamare problems
se sabko problem hothi hain- she was saying pretty much the same thing as sir.
And suddenly caught sight of her walking in the corridor bag slung casually over her shoulder and
looking thoughtful - no! Rehna tho chahthi hain saath mein ! As friends! Friends my foot and
throwing a angry look at her direction which she didnt even see , he walked to the canteen.

Canteen - gang sitting haphazardly as usual and talking about freshers party etc.,
" so dance routine start karne chahiye for party " sharon to swayam , he nodded.
" but swayam, rey ka mood kya sach mein bohot kharaab tha " nil changed topic suddenly.
Swayam nodded- all of them exchanged glances wondering when he would be fine
"itna bhi kharaab nahin hain" reys voice came in from behind making all of them turn and glad he
was back in college after a week plus all of them hugged each other, smiling and settled down
again talking together
" we missed you rey!" rinni everyone else nodded, rey smiled apologetically
"sorry guys and ...thanks bhi" and smiled more giving her a quick one armed hug," for everything.
I know ive been a pain..."
"wo tho hain" simmi as everyone laughed including rey as he held his ears
"leave it now rey! " sharon
" ab freshers party mein mazaa aayega" vicky jumped up and down ," tumne resign karliya na.
good tum bhi free hoge and we ll enjoooyyy..." and everyone started grinning happily.
Taani who had walked in just before saw them, saw rey smiling at all of them, smiled to herself
and before they could see her, walked back.

Classroom
The gang walked in as usual in their own world and found few ppl with glum faces. One girl
catching rey asked him," rey yeh kya notice lagaya hain freshers party ke liye? "
Rey," i dont know, main AGS ke post se resign karchuka hoon" she went OH
rinni/simmi to her what notice ? And by then everyone were listening
"taani ne notice lagaya hain ki sabko matlab every senior has to come to the party with a new
junior ..." everyone still had a so? look,she continued grumbling tone," matlab we cant come as
couples right! We ll have to come with ..."
"achha hi tho hain! " vicky looking at nil," new girls ke saath aa sakthe hain"
the girls and neha gave him a dirty look.
That grumbling girl continued," why with a new student? i mean just because uski love life itni
complicated hogayi hain how can she be so mean ..."
Rey s fist clenched while swayams hand went immediately on his shoulder but before they could
react, the d3 girls started talking simultaneously- OH shut up! arre? Ismein uski kya mistake hain?
It must be VP sirs...
"no , yeh VP sir ki nahin meri hi idea hain" taani at the classroom door, they turned to her - she
walked in and standing near the teachers table looked at the grumbling girl said," Notice mein sirf
yeh likha hain ki aapko ek new student ko apne saath rakhna chahiye..as a protection against
ragging bas. Couple entry na hi compulsory hain nahin banned hain. Aapko jiske saath aana
hain uske saath aasakthe ho, ya akele aa sakthe ho ya group mein bas you need to take
responsibility as a buddy ek junior ka ...hope its clear " she explained her voice firm and soft.
The girl understood and muttered Oh OK ...
Aashi s voice came in suddenly ," chalo main akeli nahin hoon jisse english types samaj aane
mein takleef hothi hain! " making bharat nod his head vigorously and everyone else started
laughing. The girl got embarrassed and said," sorry taani . I didnt really mean to be rude but ..."
Taani moving away without a smile on her face," but rude tho tha aapki comments aur unnecessary
bhi . Jab aapki baari aayegi aapko samaj aayega ki kaisa lagtha hain ek complicated love life
hone se " everyones face smiles got wiped out and reys both fists clenched as swayams hands
grip on his shoulder tightened. Taani moved away and turning to the girl said," not that i wish ki
kisiki saath bhi aisa ho" and walking to her seat sat down and started opening her bag her face
expressionless and body language indicating how she had steeled herself against any comments.
For a moment ppl just stared at her seeing the obvious change in her , then the grumbling girl
walked out embarrassed.The gang looked disturbedfrom taani who had her head bent to rey , the
d3 girls went to her and sharon placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and returned their
smiles formally. rey sat down in his seat with swayam and Vicky as usual wanting to lighten the
situation walked to her pushing rinni simmi away and said," wah taani ! New students ke saath
bonding!Itni achha idea kahaan se aaya?"
Taani looked and smiled at him sincerely ," dil se! Jab mein new thi tab kisine mujhe protect kiya
tha aur usiki wajah se ab mujhe kisiki protection ki necessity nahin lagthi" poor vickys smile got
wiped out and he moved to his seat , everyone looked at eachother helplessly , rey stared at his
desk for a second, got up and walked out but before anyone could run behind him, one teacher
walked in and they all settled down
Swayam thinking talking to both taani and rey was like hitting the head on a wall.

Rehersal hall
Rey trying to dance to some music and stopping every now and then...he sat down finally head
between his knees , taking deep breaths to steady his angry thoughts - his feeling of helplessness
- remembering taani reply to the girls unwanted comment and to vicky ...his fist clenched again-
maine kuch nahin kahaan! itna helpless kyun feel kartha hoon main taani ke saamne ! But usse
koi zaroorat nahin hain meri support ki ...ya meri...Aisa nahin chalega rey, you have to face it.she
doesnt need you...not anymore.
the team walked in and caught sight of rey , stopped and exchanged glances - he looked up and
visibly trying to gather strength , stood up and said ," ek new routine set karrahaan tha for the party
...try karein?" they nodded taking his hint and not disturbing him and started their practice sessions

Taani s apartment- some evening -bell rang continuously
Taani opened to find a smart looking girl little older looking with a bag in her hands. She breezed
in as taani opened the door and smiled at her leaving taani surprised at her confidence and taani
closed the door. She sat on the single sofa, put her legs up...opened her laptop bag and started
talking as she switched it on
"taani darling please mujhe kuch khaane ke liye doge? Im starving. Mera article shaam ko pahunch
jaana chahiye and im so upset ki maine kuch bhi nahin likha ab tak"
Taani nodded went to kitchenette, brought a plate of something and placing it on the side table
asked," why upset? "
" mera breakup hogaya...do din pehle" she replied ( taani s face went oh no im so sad for you
immediately) taking a piece of the ... in the plate and stuffing it into her mouth continued," and i
cant think ki main kya likhoo...jab bhi likhne jaathi hoon tho bas ek hazaar swearwords dil se
nikalthe hain us ...*** ke liye ( taani s face went oh no what s this im hearing -hey krishnaji sorry ) itne mahino se saath the...
