Cast: Anupam Kher, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Mahabano Modi Kotwal and Rakhi Sawant.

Director: Rahul Rawail

Synopsis: At a party thrown for a Rs 5000 crore IPO launch of his company, Laxmikant Kabadia (Anupam Kher) dies while at 'it' with a wannabe starlet (Rakhi Sawant). His family members consisting of a nymphomaniac sister, Prerna (Kotwal), two good for nothing sons, Samir (Mukesh Rishi) and Ranjeet (Bobby Parvez), their respective wives, grown up kids and his personal spiritual guru Vidyut Baba (Om Puri) are in a fix. If they announce his death then they fear they will have to let go off the IPO booty. Vidyut advises them to hide his demise news till the IPO closes.

Thus, starts a never ending marathon of hiding LK's dead body and at times bringing him in front of public and even the media so that they are assured of him being alive. But, LK's trusted servant Ramu Kaka (Rawal) comes to know about it and starts taking optimum advantage of this situation. In these proceedings many skeletons come out of the closet which leads to additional problems for LK's greedy family members.

Acting: Rakhi Sawant proves she can act as she takes full advantage of her first big opportunity. Anupam Kher seems to be having a ball playing a corpse in a role somewhat reminiscent of Satish Shah's in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (1983). Om Puri is extremely funny. Mahabaanoo Mody Kotwal is hilarious. Mukesh Tiwari, famous for his intense villain roles displays great comic timing. Ranveer Shorey is great fun. The best of the lot is Paresh Rawal who despite a smaller screen time leaves his impression.

indya.com rating: 3 out of 5

Direction: Rahul Rawail's intention seem to be set clear – make the film hilarious without a single dull moment even if that means resorting to obscene toilet humour. He already had a perfect casting but has ruined this advantage by falling prey to double intender jokes at every single step making you cringe in your seats after a point of time.

indya.com rating: 2 out of 5

Script: We have seen it all before in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and Malamaal Weekly – a big bunch of characters and a dead body amongst them either being shielded or displayed for achieving their greed for money. BMG is only different in the sense that some of the situations thrown in are really uproarious like the family members hiring dead bodies on different occasions and having mock funerals with them or Paresh Rawal's smart-alecky turns whenever he smells a conspiracy. Rakhi Sawant's individual "struggling" scenes with lusty old men have turned out to be funny too.

indya.com rating: 2 out of 5

Music: Bappi Lahiri tuned the sole song in the film, the title song. It comes in the opening and end credits apart from being played in the background throughout the proceedings. Rawail has made good use of inserting popular songs from films like Omkara and Cheeni Kum in the background score making the situations funnier.
