The theme of this gala was POP, and indi-pop songs, but all judges gave good comments to those who sang songs mixed with classical touch. In my observation, Prashant is the only guy who sang the true POP song that beats the heart of young generation and qualify to be called as a POP song.
It is ridiculous the judges thought his song is an easier one. The POP songs are like that. And still, there are lots of extra-ordinary combinations of high and low pitches fluctuating too fast, which makes POP songs difficult in unique way. Prashant has done all those difficult singing in very excellent way except at one point. I checked and rechecked his performance with the original song several times.
On the other hand, Emon and Amit's songs are not POP songs, they sang making notable mistakes. Emon missed word, Amit was flat at the beginning, and both of them were not to their best. And Judges say they can forgive. Give me a break. They know they have mistake and they can forgive even if they are singing classical types of songs in a POP round and then talk about Soor and Besoor in addition. But they undermine Prashant for singing a right type of song, with almost flawless performance ???? š”š”š”
