Personally I think she's being a goofy 21 year old making fun of herself.

The reasons this doesn't come off as controversial or crazy is because she's posting a selfie with a one liner about herself (she's done it before when she was sick) and that's it. People have never been able to pick things apart, find digs at others etc.
