school fees

the satyagraha should actually be for ending bonded labour ,not asking bhaiyaji to pay fees for all the children or asking him to admit them for free in his school... like tejaswani said it is not any charity institution , if it is a private school then fees has to be paid ... if their aim is only getting shiksa why don't they approach for a government school ,since bhaiyaji as per his promise has now given them the permission to study... may be since chakor is a kid and was among the elites in lucknow she don't know the option of govt schools, she knows only life of elites and feels the life outside bhaiyaji's bandhuagiri will be like that :P ... when the truth is even if bhaiyaji ends bonded labour and starts paying fair amount for their work then also they would still be poor only and have to struggle to pay that fee or may be could not pay also :P...

on the whole the satyagraha for getting admitted in a private school for free looks meaningless ... even 'right to education' doesn't support it :P

Private school bhaiya jee ka hi hai aur wo fees maaf karwane ki baat karahi h aur azaadganj me govt bhaiyaji ki hi hai tou govt school abhi unka hi hoga aur I don't think so k azadganj me aur koi school hai abhi

I agree with you, me too don't see the point of what Chakor is trying to do...I mean how will it affect bhaiya ji if Chakor and the rest of the village kids are not eating? 😕

This news will spread soon enough -- to journalists and others and Bhaiyyaji will be shamed into backing down. Of course they will show lots of drama before then 😕

if there is no govt school in azadganj they can look for it in nearby village or they can together petition govt (thro ishwar) to have a govt school in their village ... it will take time but their demand has to be sensible ...

KN has cleverly tricked chakor , not even ishwar raised the practical question to chakor that even if KN gives them permission how will they go to school...as a result chakor got fooled, which is not KN's mistake .. but what she doing now is nothing but a zith that all children should be admitted in KN's school for free which i don't think can anyway be legally supported by ishwar or anybody...
