Anuj is a killer?

Don't get shocked by the headline, we are referring to the character Abhay Kapoor played by Anuj in Kkusum.

He has been playing a mentally challenged individual in the show since last two weeks.

He calls his own daughter, Kumud, (Aashka Goradia) didi. He injures Kshtij, his son in-law, fatally and is all set to land up in jail. The murder will happen in the next episode of this Balaji daily in the Sony show.

Abhinav (Amar Upadhyay) will hide him in Kkusum's mother's house but she (Kkusum) will tell the police where Abhay is and he will be arrested and put in jail. This will add a lot of drama to the show. Since Kumud is the only person who had interacted with Abhay and Kshitij before her husband, Kshitij was hit by her father, she would be in a dilemma.

Kumud's mental state will drive her towards suicide -- an overdose of sleeping pills, but saved in the nick of time in typical Balaji ishtyle.

The case will proceed to the court. It will be difficult for Abhinav and Kkusum to prove that Abhay is mentally challenged, so they will mutually decide to prove Abhay insane in court, so that he is saved from the humiliation of being in jail.

What is worth noting at this point is Kkusum is the only Balaji show whose unit hasn't gone abroad. With the exception of three fashion shows nothing much has been done by channel or Balaji to promote Kkusum.

Kyunki Saas Bhi…., Kassauti Zindagi Kay, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki (All on Star Plus) units have been taken abroad. The latest unit going abroad is Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai (on Sony). Kkusum has been the channel driver for Sony till Jassi happened. Even after Jassi..., Kkusum has maintained loyal viewership and ok TRPs inspite the lead being replaced twice! And add to it the Nausheen comeback controversy. Kkusum will be completing 1000 episodes in November. Will Kkusum ever get the importance from Balaji like Kyunki… and Kahaani...?
