The episode starts with Sahir sitting in his office thinking about how Anam can be Anu and thinks if she's Anu then why did she hide the fact that she knew Zeenat for a long time. Anam walks in and breaks his reverie. She tells him she's glad he called her because she wanted to discuss details about the new fashion line. Sahir sarcastically smiles and tells her regardless of whatever goes on in the life, she will just be concerned about her work. The show must go on. Anam thanks him and says she's glad at least someone noticed. She tells Sahir that Saiyyara is her first priority and that's why she wants to be the VP of the company. Sahir tells her before talking about things far ahead, she should think of what's happening in the present. A confused Anam asks him what he's talking about. Sahir gets up from his chair and tells her he has some rules in his life and the first rule is that he doesn't turn down his mother's request but he's ready to break the rule. He also tells her that Alvira instructed him to rusticate her from Saiyyara but he's ready to give her one chance. Anam takes Arzoo's name, trying to blame her but Sahir interrupts her and tells her that Arzoo is his wife and insulting her means insulting him. He then tells her she knows the outcome of insulting Sahir Azeem Choudhary. Anam says she'll remember next time and Sahir tells her it's better that way because if he has to remind her then pain will be caused for no reason. Anam tells him she always knew he's a fair person and thanks him for giving her a second chance citing that she appreciates it. Sahir asks her if there's anything that she would like to tell him which is related to him but she denies.

Anam says she'll start working on the new designs but as she turns to leave; Sahir calls out to her as Anu and she turns around responding. A shocked Anam looks at Sahir as he repeatedly chants Anu/Anam and asks her what name to use. Anam says she doesn't know what he's talking about. Furiously, Sahir tells her he can't bear being lied to. He asks her again whether she knew Zeenat before her accident and if she knew her then what was the reason behind her hiding the truth. Anam finally agrees that she knew Zeenat and tells Sahir she was friends with Zeenat in college and she also wanted to tell Sahir the truth but their lives and relations became complicated so she thought hiding the truth was the right choice after Zeenat's accident. She also tells him she had no other intention behind what she did because she didn't want to hurt him further by talking about Zeenat. Sahir says he knows the truth and has enough courage to bear the truth. He demands for the truth and Anam asks what truth he's talking about; he mentions that she's Zeenat friend therefore she must know who Zeenat was having an affair with. Dumbfounded, Anam asks him if he knows about it and he clarifies that he knew the truth 7 years ago even before Zeenat's accident. He says he knows about the affair but he isn't aware of who the man is and that's what he wants to find out from her. Anam swears that she has no idea who the man is and she hid the truth from him because she didn't want to hurt him. She tells him she didn't have the courage to tell him that his Zeenat is betraying him. In addition, she says she doesn't know who the man is and she only had a phone number. She narrates to him about the accident night how Zeenat had told her to call that number and inform the man that she's leaving Sahir. Anam says the man was suppose to go meet her but he never showed up. She says she spoke to the man once and after Zeenat's accident, whenever she tried calling the number it came across as switched off. She offers to look for the number again and requests Sahir to believe her as she's telling him nothing but the truth. Sahir tells her to find the number and not to play any games with him this time otherwise she won't have a position at Saiyyara nor a place at home. Anam leaves after telling Sahir she'll get the number for him.

Later that night, Arzoo is shown fixing a gramophone into their room as Sahir walks in. He unbuttons his waistcoat and loosens his tie while laying down on the bed. Arzoo notices him and points out that he looks tired but Sahir shuns her off saying it's nothing. She shows him the gramophone and tells him about how her daadi used to play songs using the gramophone all day in Lucknow. Arzoo asks Sahir whether he feels bad about her fixing a gramophone into the room without his permission. Sahir sits up and takes off his waistcoat then tells Arzoo that both the house and room are hers as much as his. He tells her she doesn't need his permission. Arzoo gets happy and offers to get him some coffee but he says he's not in the mood. She smiles and tries to strike a conversation with him again by asking him how his day was but he gives one worded answers, worrying Arzoo. She finally gets an idea and asks him if he'll do whatever she says. Sahir agrees and Arzoo asks him to take his shoes off. He asks why but Arzoo avoids his question and pleads again. Sahir takes his shoes off while Arzoo plays some music on the gramophone. She turns around and tells him to take his socks off too and he complies. She holds his hand and takes him to the pool side. The duo sit by the pool and Arzoo puts her legs into the water while Sahir lovingly looks at her. She sarcastically asks him whether he needs a special invitation to put his legs into the water like she did. Sahir hesitates at first but when she asks him to do it for her, he immediately puts his legs into the water. They intertwine their hands. Arzoo vigorously splashes water like a child and asks him to do the same. Sahir does it softly. Arzoo tells him to become a child once more because the work, sorrows and tensions of life are like a school bag. She tells him to take the school back off his shoulders because he must have seen how happy children become once they take their school bags off their shoulders. Arzoo requests Sahir once more to be happy like those school children and play with her. She tells him to forget about all the tension. The couple share a light moment, laughing and playing around with water. Arzoo affectionately looks at Sahir's happy face and he becomes conscious. He suddenly remembers that she has a phobia of water and mentions the same but Arzoo tells him she's not scared of water when she's with him because she knows he'll always be there to support her when anything happens.

Arzoo tells him she can also support him; all she needs is a chance. She requests him to tell her about the happenings during the day because he has a sadness on his face. Sahir reminds her he once told her that the more she tries to read into the pages of his past the more everything gets tangled and he doesn't want her to get involved into any problems. Arzoo tells him he should have thought of all these things before he married her because now their destinies have been united so if her soul mate is worried then she's worried too and if her soul mate is happy then she's happy too. Sahir shocks Arzoo when he tells her Anu is Anam and she was college friends with Zeenat. Arzoo tells Sahir there's betrayal in every corner of the house and they don't know who is trustworthy and who isn't. Sahir tells her they can only trust each other. Arzoo asks him what Anam told him. Sahir tells her Anam doesn't know who Zeenat was having an affair with. Arzoo asks him if it's true that Zeenat was betraying him. Sahir sadly says yes and Arzoo puts his head on her shoulder to comfort him. He tells Arzoo he won't stop until he finds out the truth because the matter won't end and if the matter doesn't come to an end then the pain and troubled associated with him won't end. He says all he knows is that she was having an affair with someone else but he doesn't know who that person is. Arzoo inwardly promises herself to stand by Sahir until the day she dies. She also promises herself to give him so much love which will overrule the pain and sorrow in his life.

Zeenat is shown eavesdropping on their conversation from their window and getting irked seeing them holding each other's hands. She says she has seen the love for Sahir that Arzoo has in her eyes so she will fill the same eyes with endless tears because now they're foes as now she's back to take back what belongs to her because Sahir was her in the past and always will be hers. She leaves from there and rushes to her room where Kurti Apa is sleeping on one side. Zeenat gets scared seeing her stroking the pillow and carefully moves her hand to get into bed again. As soon as she covers herself and lies down; Kurti Apa wakes up and looks at her lovingly then goes back to sleep. Zeenat heaves a sigh of relief and thinks she needs to be careful on wards because she nearly got caught.

The following morning, Alvira is shown giving instructions to a servant to prepare breakfast. Once the servant leaves, Zaki makes an entry with a radiant smile and hugs Alvira. She thanks God and tells Zaki she's happy to see him smile. Zaki tells her he has realized that one can be happy only when they genuinely want to be and he won't let whatever is happening in the house spoil his image because his smile is his charm. He further tells Alvira that it's his day. Alvira asks him what he means and he tells her it's Valentine's Day; a day for the lovers. He hands her a red rose and wishes her. She thanks him and blesses him. Kurti Apa walks in and tells them she's seeing a lot of love blooming between the mother-son duo. She sits on the dining table while Zaki joins her. He tells her the mother-son relation is the most special relation but while expressing his love to his mother he didn't forget his first love. Alvira suppresses her laughter as Zaki pulls out another rose from his jacket. He shows her the flower and tells her he has got a rose for a rose. Kurti Apa shies away telling him to stop his childish antics. Zaki carries on telling her she looks lovely when she blushes and he got the rose for her so she shouldn't deny because he's giving it with so much love. Kurti Apa accepts the rose. Arzoo walks in and greets them. Alvira asks for Sahir and she says he went to office early for some important work. Arzoo notices the rose in Kurti Apa's hand and smiles. Kurti Apa is shown looking at the rose without paying any attention to those around while they smile. Zaki calls out to her breaking her reverie and tells her on the next Valentine's he'll lay out a garden of roses for her. Everyone laughs and Arzoo gets happy thinking about Valentine's day. She says there isn't a better day for making new memories and breaking him out of the nightmares that have captured him than Valentine's Day.

Precap: Arzoo holds two red heart shaped balloons and wishes Sahir a happy Valentine's Day. Sahir apologizes for forgetting but Arzoo assures him that it's okay because she remembered. She tells him she thought about what gift to give him all day and finally decided on the balloons. Arzoo tells him she's giving him her heart and breath for Valentine's Day. Sahir promises to safeguard them for the rest of his life.
